The Previous Night

It was the second evening of her staying in the cold-tiled room. Zohra was tired seating idle. Waqas was not with her; he was gone to attend some of his patients and never came back.

She knew it was hard for him, but it was harder for her. Her mind ran miles and miles for a solution to make everything right. She couldn't think of any answer. The only thing which was lingering in her mind was their relationship; she didn't want to lose it, never ever.

The sun hung low in the sky with shades of orange and blue waving in the sky. Her eyes raked around the room and she sighed raking her fingers through her hairs, for the umpteenth time.

She was alone with no one by her side. And this thought of her's troubled her. Because, she could apply it to the both situations, currently and a problem she is going through.
