Chapitre 21: 20. FEAR

"House of sins opens at night,

Where should I found myself, a light?"

She lay on the bed, tired from handling twenty kids at once. Remembering Waqas's prescribed medicines; she pulled the drawer open and took it out. Without analyzing the label, she took two at once.

Getting comfortable on the bed, she was out like a light. Soon, her forehead was full of sweat beads shining, and her breaths uneven. Deep down memories opened. Feeling a knot tied in her stomach, she turned in her sleep, restless.

Dark, silence room. With no light in it. Gravel ground under her feet felt hard and edged as she explored the area, she was never meant to discover.

It was night, dark night. With no moon out in the sky. Softly padding with her teddy bear clutched in her arms. She opened a door which entered her into a room of cries. Full of fear, anxiety and grief. But, no one was there. Fear morphed into her face as the little girl, curiously explored the room, searching the cries.
