Chapter 7: Small Changes
Exiting my house ,I saw some slimy blobs appearing around the streets. Those are probably the weak field monsters.
Looking like a cosplayer with all my equipment still on ,I drew a lot of attention. Especially my sword.
It was the elucidator that any sword art online fan would recognize. I also noticed that a lot of people didn't recognize the slimes.
Fair ,not everyone has played a fantasy rpg. I also noticed a few people who did recognize them. The ones that did ,tried to kill the slimes for exp.
I don't know if it works like that. Continuing through the city ,I noticed a some kind of white swirling portal. Walking up to it ,a red screen appeared.

So this is what an actual dungeon entrance looks like. Entering the portal ,I found myself in a small forest.
Looking around ,I saw a lot of foliage but no monsters yet. Taking my elucidator out ,I made sure I was ready for combat.
Slowly searching the forest ,I found a strange wall made of bushes. It looked like it was covering something.
Slicing through the wall ,I found a cave entrance. As I was about to enter ,my arm moved by itself and slashed forward as my body automatically retreated.
I made it a few feet back when a pair of eyes slowly emerged from the cave. A wolf exited the cave. Looks like this guy was guarding the entrance.
Activating my wings ,it charged at me. I flew around it and pierced my sword through it. I pulled my sword out and kicked the wolf into a nearby tree.
I felt way stronger compared to the tutorial ,I could destroy trash mobs like these easily. Continuing into the cave ,it lead to a small dome shaped cavern.
I could see four more wolves in the cavern ,two bigger than the rest of them.
There wasn't much distance between us ,so I used my wings at full power and slashed my sword through the neck of one of the smaller wolves.
I then created distance by flying back a few feet and jumping to the side.
Landing close to the other slightly smaller wolf ,it pounced with its jaw aimed for my neck.
Using its inability to move while in the air ,I used my wings to boost me as I jumped out to the left.
As I reached the side of it ,I went straight for the neck as well. Bringing my sword down ,the separated head flew foward.
After killing the small fry ,I felt my arms moving as my sword positioned itself horizontally.
Two claws came down on my sword as the force sent my sword closer to me. I gripped my sword with two hands and used the blade to slide the wolf claws down into the ground.
I then used my wings to fly into the air as a wolf flew past my feet. Flying to the roof ,I turned and kicked off the roof and pierced the first wolf in the head with my sword.
Pulling my sword out of the perished wolf ,I saw the second one running towards me. It was viciously charging ,I assumed it would go for a straight on assault.
Seeing it jump at me with its front paws in the air ,ready to tear my guts from my body. I swung my sword and jumped to the side as I watched one of the front paws go flying into the distance.
