{4}interlude-The Otto Files: Pink
A/N: Sorry that I haven't updated for like a week, I was in a trip to Las Vegas with the fam.

-3rd POV-
Welt hurriedly walked through the halls of Hyperion, his pace was fast as he wanted to reach his destination as soon as possible.
After a few minutes of walking he finally made it to where he wanted to arrive.
It was a nice wooden door that has a pink decorated sign saying "Only beautiful girls allowed, and Otto"
Welt's lips twitched as he wondered how many more women he would seduce. He silently prayed for his friends downfall as he knocked on the door.
*Knock knock knock*
Welt waited for a bit untill the door opened, Elysia walked out covered in multiple paints stains on her clothes, she was currently drawing and chilling.
"Hm~, welt? Do you need something" Elysia asked with a surprised tone.
Out of all people, she didn't think that welt himself would reach out to her in person.
...unless it was for that.
Elysia quickly looked left and right, seeing that no one was within the halls she yanked Welt into her room and slammed the door shut.
"That was unnecessary" Welt grumbled in anoyance as he got up from the floor.
"Ehehe~ sorry but our talk should be a secret, right?~" Elysia said in her usual cheery tone
"Yes, altough I wished you would have been less... rougher" Taking a seat on one of her cute pink couches, he was now face to face with her.
Usually, Welt wouldn't be nervous, but her never stoping smile unnerved him. It made it hard for him to see through her.
"What are you?" Welt asked, straight to the point
"What am I? Hmm~ that's a toughie" Elysia brought her finger to her lips, thinking deeply about her answer.
After a few seconds she spoke "How about we start in the beginning" clapping her hands, multiple robots flew in, setting up a delicious spread of sweets and tea.
If she was going to tell welt what she was, Elysia would need to go from the beginning. Elysia also had the munchies, so what better time to eat snacks? Story time!
"I was born out of nothing-" Elysia started of her story.
Her birth was a rather... unique existence. Born from nothing was how she described it
From the moment she came to be she was filled with an indescribable yet irrational hate for humans. Genocide, rape, Robery, murder, all these human crimes where shown to her.
But, they were show to a child. Her small and undeveloped mind could not fully comprehend why she felt so much hate.
Eventually someone found Elysia right were she was created, where she would end up in an orphanage.
As as she grew up, she realized that things were different from the information that was given to her by "IT".
The woman that had picked her up and raised her was kind, loving, and beautiful.
It was nothing like what she had seen in those visions.
This caused Elysia's young mind to spiral, to doubt.
Her duty as a herrsher was rapidly fading away with each interaction she had with people.
Elysia continued to grow up, eventually meeting Mei, Kevin, Eden, Kalpas, everyone.
She grew up around so much love and familiarity that the memories that were implanted into her, faded away.
What was left was a love for humanity, a need to understand it, and a yearn to protect it.
"And thash abouf it" Elysia finished her story, her face stuffed with so many macaroons that she couldn't speak.
"So...you were a defect?" Welt bluntly summed it up in 5 words.
Elysia visibly recoiled from his words but nodded, even though it hurt "yup, Otto told me that Herrshers aren't supposed to be made out of nothing. Usually a person is bestowed a Herrsher Stigma by "it", creating a consciousness within it which is the Herrshers itself" Elysia explained, gaining Welt's undivided attention.
"Once a person that has a Stigma goes under heavy emotional stress, the Herrsher within the stigma takes advantage of it and takes over the body-absorbing the atmospheric Honkai energy Into the Stigma, thus creating a herrsher core and turning the body into one of a herrsher. Although it's hard to do so since it takes a lot of Honkai energy to turn into a herrsher" Elysia finished her explanation, showing the difference between her and a natural born herrsher.
"Elysia..." Welt suddenly spoke, his tone completely serious.
"You're the...first of your kind to decend, right?" He asked.
"Um~ yes it think so?" She answered, not completely sure but she hasn't seen a city magically disappear on TV so there shouldn't be any more besides her.
"If that's the case, then how does Otto know how "IT" creates Herrshers, despite there only being you?"
To know this type of stuff, one should have gone through extensive amounts of research, and research requires subjects.
A silence decended upon the room.
"...I don't know" this time her pretty face was filled with confusion.
How did Otto know something that even she herself didn't know about the Cocoon of Finality.
"Exactly, now that brings things to us" Welt was now ready to exchange information.
He was sure that if he crossed info with her, he should be able to point down what kind of existence the Herrshers are exactly, and what Otto himself is.
"Mhm, you should be something similar to me right?" Elysia was already aware that he was just like her, a Herrsher.
Welt nodded, but unlike how Elysia described a normal Herrshers birth, they were completely different "I am the tree that holds all, the one that birthed the world.
For I am the End and the Beginning.
The incarnate of Destruction and Creation.
The one true Calamity and Savior of the very universe.
So I ask you Welt Yang, Will you become my [Reason]?"
Word for word, Welt recited the chant Otto has said In that fateful day. A small nostalgic smile spread through his face.
"...what was that?" Elysia looked at Welt In confusion, not like Welt can blame her since he never gave context as to what that chant was.
"It's the chant Otto recited before turning us into Herrshers" Welt's explanation helped a lot as Elysia now made sense of it.
"Hm~ 'I am the tree that holds all'" recited Elysia.
Going by context and what she has learn through Otto, it's obvious that he's talking about the Imaginary Tree.
In other words...Otto is a tree?
No, no, no!
That didn't make sense.
Elysia shook her head as she dismissed the thought. Someone like Otto could never be an Omniscient Tree that has been here since the beginning of time. Welt would also agree with her thoughts.
"Thinking won't help" Welt spoke, snapping Elysia out of her thoughts.
Reaching into his coat, he took out [Void Archives]
Elysia's eyes shined as she stared at the Divine Key.
She could feel it, a Herrsher core.
But it was...empty, not whole. Nothing but the shell of the real thing.
"So you noticed?" Seeing Elysia's expression, he was sure that she was having the same thoughts as him.
"Yup, it's like the core is incomplete-unlike your core" Elysia confirmed her thoughts.
"The Divine Key, Void Archives. Using a mix between a core of [Reason] and Soulium, it allows one to copy things to a limited level and stores information" Welt introduced the item.
"Oooh~ let me touch it~" Elysia was curious about the said "Divine Keys.
Welt immediately slaped her hand away.
"Ouch! Mou~ come on let me touch~" Elysia cutely puted.
"No" Welt immediately shut her down.
Elysia continued to pout, but they had better things to do so she let him off for now.
The golden cube in his hand glowed dimly, in the fraction of a seconds they were both transported to a huge library.
Elysia looked around in amazement as she looked at the sea of shelves that stretched across the horizon.
"Follow me" Welt began to walk, Elysia followed behind him.
After a few minutes of walking the maze of books, they finally arrived at the spot.
It was a huge shelve that contained books with the title 'The Previous Era'.
Welt hesitated a bit, knowing that he was going against Otto's orders, but there was no going back.
He needed to know, whether Otto told him or not.
Grabbing the book; he opened it, Elysia right over his shoulder to see.
A blue light materialized out of the book, forming and transforming into a hologram of Otto.
{Well, well, well, look what we have here~} Ottos hologram said, a grin plastered across his face.
Welt's expression darkened as he realized that he has been caught.
{Don't worry, I'm just a hologram. But still I have to say that I'm disappointed, Welt}
"Eh? Isn't he a hologram?" Elysia pointed out, how could he tell that it was welt if it was a hologram?
{And you, Elysia. I'm disappointed that you let yourself be draged into this by him} The hologram stared right at Elysia.
"Woah?!" This time she was creeped out by how accurate Otto's hologram was.
{But...if you are seeing this, then it means that you are both looking into it, the 'Previous Era'. I won't stop you, but I do hope that you both are prepare for the truth} Holo Otto stared straight into Welt's eyes, welt returned the intense gaze to the hologram.
A back and forward stare lasted for a few seconds until the hologram sighed.
{Sigh~ so you've made your choice. But don't think I'm going to make it easy for you} Otto's Hologram claped it's hands, making another screen to pop up, it was some sort of map.
{We're having a treasure hunt~}
Welt groaned as he knew that discovering the truth wasn't going to be so easy as he tought it would be.
For now he would need to go along with Otto's wim.
But unlike Welt, Elysia was absolutely exited.
