Everyone watched every step of Arias’ action with surprise, a similar question popping up in their heads. ‘What kind of person is Arias? Is he a monster that could kill people like they were insects, or is he full of mercy?’
The kindness Arias had shown toward the moonbird was in such a stark contrast to when he fought Milos. No one knew what would have happened if the two of them fought without any witnesses. It was hard to say whether Milos would still be alive if that was the case. No one doubted Arias’ words when he said that he would kill Milos. If it were the words of any other sixteen-year-old boy, people would have brushed it off as an empty threat. But when those words came from Arias, the person whose performance at the Tournament made people call him a monster, everyone doubtlessly believed that he could kill Milos without any hesitation.
“What a strange person. I haven’t met a mage like him before.”
Maybelle said, surprised by Arias’ behavior.
