"Will you give us time to decide?" Lilith's question caught me off guard.
"Wait, what?" I asked my wife. "What are you saying Lili?"
"When is the child due?" She just ignored me.
She chose to completely ignore me rather than to answer my question.
The warden looks to me, he isn't sure what he should do.
"I suggest you answer her question," Lex said. "My cousin is more dangerous than her husband."
The warden nodded, "She's due in two months."
"The child will be roughly a few days younger than ours," Lilith hummed as she placed her hand on her bump.
She looked up at me, I could tell with the way she looked that she wanted to do something about the kid.
"You can't be serious, Lili," I grumbled.
"The child isn't at fault here," she pointed out.
"And what exactly do you plan to do?" I questioned her.
