Chapitre 63: Pushing Lex

"Who the fuck let you in?" Lex said as he jumped to his feet. "Was it my cousin? I swear if she's playing some prank on me—"

I shook my head as I placed my hands in my pocket.

"None of your team are out there," I told him.

"What? Why?" he marched to the door but I managed to grab him by the arm, stopping him from storming out and making a scene.

"They all went down to help Lilith," I sighed. "Let's have a drink."

"Why would they have to help my cousin?" he asked as he relaxed and walked to the minibar to pour us some drinks as I had asked.

"I don't know," I answered with a shrug. "By the time I got there that whore of an ex-sister-in-law of hers was accusing her of fucking you."

"That's just sick," Lex said as he pretended to vomit.

"Somehow your team had an idea of what could happen and they all went to defend her," I explained.
