"You sure about that?" I asked with a long, put-out sigh. "I don't want any rumors about me taking advantage of you."

"I said it before, and I'll say it again. As long as you are in human form, everything is fair game," replied Amanda with a shrug of her shoulders. It was starting to annoy me with how blasé she was with this whole situation. Was she really that confident she would come out as the winner?

"Perfect," I grunted, pushing back my annoyance and pasting a bright smile on my face. Without another word, I reached into the small of my back and grabbed the gun that Travis was holding out for me, and shot her dead.

There was nothing but silence coming from the people outside of the pack mansion as Amanda dropped unceremoniously to the ground. The sound of the bullet exiting the chamber echoed in the stillness.
