"HOLD THE LINE" A voice screamed. 

Screams and anguished cries permeated the air, a chilling symphony of terror echoing through Golden Scale Town. 

Various howls filled the sky, heralding the onslaught of darkness that threatened to engulf the once-thriving settlement.

Tension gripped the town like a vice, suffusing the streets with an aura of foreboding. 

What was once a bustling thoroughfare now lay desolate, the remnants of its former liveliness drowned in the suffocating grip of dread.

At the town defense wall, the heavy footsteps of guards reverberated continuously, a constant reminder of the imminent danger that loomed just beyond the horizon.

 Men, both young and old, were ferried back and forth on stretchers, their bodies bearing the scars of battle. 

Some lay silent and motionless, their souls claimed by the merciless onslaught, while others writhed in agony, their anguished cries punctuating the grim tableau of war.
