T'Challa had not originally harbored much hope for deciphering the formula of the Vibranium alloy, since the Royal Research Institute of Wakanda had already done many studies to unravel the mystery of Vibranium, including the development of Vibranium alloys.
Wakanda's technology had far surpassed that of other nations and they had derived some pride from this, believing that if they couldn't figure something out, others couldn't either.
This was the first time T'Challa had seen an actual sample of a Vibranium alloy - one that had perfect defensive capabilities. The only problem was the absence of the formula, making replication impossible.
If this had to be deduced, then it's possible that the scientists of Wakanda had already tried all the potential materials that could appear on the workbench. So, all T'Challa could do was inform the scientists at the Royal Research Institute and have them try their best to crack it.
But if there was indeed a material on the workbench that the scientists of Wakanda had never experimented with, it could possibly be the meteorite attached to the Vibranium ore.
Wakanda has a long history with crafting Vibranium. They had various forms of Vibranium, but hardly any scientists had researched the original ore.
On one hand, the ore had too many impurities, making it almost unusable for casting. On the other hand, the royal family was quite bothered by the outflow of Vibranium. They had strict management measures for all Vibranium traces, and the Vibranium materials that the Royal Research Institute got were those with special research IDs, all traceable and from a special assembly line in the smelting factory.
Just as scientists from other countries would not directly throw iron ore into the process when making an alloy, the scientists of Wakanda had never considered using Vibranium with the meteorite for synthesis.
But as Bruce had suggested, since Vibranium would inevitably appear on the table, the ore on the meteorite would be the most likely component. This was also the main difference between a common ingredient and a unique one.
T'Challa could no longer sit still, he excused himself by saying, "Sorry, this matters greatly to the fate of my nation. As king, I must return at once."
Everyone understood, after all, this perfect defensive metal held great potential for the human race. Whether T'Challa's attempt succeeded or not, there was nothing to lose.
T'Challa turned to leave, and as soon as he completely left everyone's field of vision, Stark immediately turned his gaze to Shiller.
"Venom is on him, what are you planning now?"
T'Challa left the theme park with Ororo but did not go to catch the shuttle bus as their spaceship was parked not far away. As soon as their ship took off, another spaceship landed on a mountain not far from the Star Wars Theme Park, and a blue-skinned man walked out from it.
T'Challa paid no attention to it, he drove the spaceship back to Wakanda at the fastest speed.
Having been king for this long, T'Challa was no novice. He kicked up a fuss in the palace, shocked to see Vibranium's ore in America again. Moreover, the Vibranium traders were confidently selling it, even his good friend Stark had received a sales call, leaving him rather embarrassed.
When the king got angry, the royal butler had to immediately prepare for an inspection of the Vibranium mines to see who had not been doing their job in keeping the Vibranium ore from leaking.
Everyone immediately became nervous because they knew that there were always problems in the mine. If the king found something amiss this time, it could spell major trouble for many people.
T'Challa's sudden inspection was a surprise. Those who usually deceived their superiors did not have time to prepare, allowing him to catch many culprits. But, that was a story for later. Taking advantage of the situation, he managed to get into the deepest part of the mine.
The Vibranium mine was not on the surface, otherwise, any thief would have stolen everything. It was over two hundred kilometers beneath the surface, with the difficulty of extraction very high, only Wakanda's technology could painlessly extract it.
This concerns the meteorite that had fallen into Wakanda about ten thousand years ago. Two meteors had struck Earth, one landing in Africa, the other in Antarctica. This was common knowledge that could be found in textbooks.
The one in Africa had been claimed by Wakanda. In theory, the Antarctica one would belong to the thief but the issue was that the Vibranium in the meteorite shell had completed its smelting process during the descent, attaining exceedingly high strength. When it crashed, it didn't fragment, instead, piercing the ground like a nail.
With tectonic pressure, the meteorite wrapped in Vibranium kept drilling downward. By the time humans had the ability to mine it, it had already drilled over two hundred kilometers under the ground.
Wakanda was capable of mining it. Up until now, no one has tried to extract the one in Antarctica because it is deeper and everyone would be working away from their home field, so the difficulty would be even greater.
Only by descending to the deepest part of the mineshaft could one find the remnants of the initial meteorite. T'Challa did not let anyone else touch it, he donned his battle armor, entered the mine, and took a piece of raw ore with the meteorite attached.
What he didn't notice was that a small area where he had tread was darker than the rest. The black mud that had fallen from him had already sunk over a hundred kilometers.
For Venom to travel downward was a piece of cake. As a creature composed of factors, and since the diameter of those factors is smaller than any stratum gap, it could easily seep downwards, heading straight towards the target— a hollow cave located about two thousand kilometers under the African continent's shelf, near the Earth's core.
This was a massive cave that should not exist in this place. None of Earth's geological evolution could account for the formation of this cave naturally.
However, Venom, hanging from the ceiling, only saw numerous green embryos scattered all around the cave - all of them were cosmic locust eggs.
The unfortunate Celestial, who had died of disease on Earth, left not only his body behind, but also a large quantity of cosmic locusts and their unhatched eggs deep within Earth's core.
The Earth's magnetic field had a suppressant effect on these extraordinary insects, so these eggs had not hatched or broken through the soil. It was as if time had been frozen, preserving them without a change for millions of years.
Venom carefully slid down the rock wall, finding the largest and apparently healthiest egg. He slowly enveloped the egg's shell with his symbiotic factor and swallowed the egg.
He was aware, the biggest challenge was yet to come — He had to stealthily transport the egg to the Earth's surface and throw it onto Wakanda's spaceship.
In the Star Wars Theme park of Disneyland, Shiller, Loki, and Thanos gathered. Shiller spread his hands and said, "That's it, these are my conditions. You just need to get Yondu's agreement."
Thanos hesitated for a moment before saying, "It's hard to imagine, even absurd, I cannot understand why such a powerful entity would be tortured by an insect."
"Perhaps every Jack has his Jill." Shiller shook his head lightly and said, "But you need to understand, it's not always that you see a powerful god fleeing, and fleeing to your doorstep."
"He's coming." Loki turned to look outside the restaurant. Yondu was being surrounded by a group of children asking for group photos, but he clearly had no patience for that and made a beeline toward them.
The negotiation that came was straightforward. Thanos and Loki made it clear that they did not seek Yondu for reconciliation, but instead wanted him to serve as a snitch, revealing the locations of other interstellar pirates.
Of course, Yondu could not easily agree. What ensued was a tug-of-war between the two parties. Yondu believed that he had inkling of Thanos' goal, so he did not feel like throwing in the towel. Instead, he tried his best to negotiate for compensation, in hope of preserving the Ravager Group.
The negotiation lasted till an afternoon meal in the restaurant. At this time, Yondu's communicator buzzed, carrying the panicked voice of Quill.
"Yondu, come back quickly! Shockface and his crew are rebelling! They say you're unfit to lead the Ravagers and want to leave you behind and head back to Centaurus. We're resisting in the captain's cabin but can't start the ship. Hurry back!"
"Hello?! Hello??!!"
Yondu sprang to his feet, glaring at Thanos and Loki across the table. However, seeing their surprised expressions, he reconsidered if they were the instigators.
The Ravagers and other interstellar pirate groups didn't get along very well. It was likely for Yondu to serve as a snitch, so there was no need for inciting internal strife within the Ravagers at this time. Instead, it was plausible that other interstellar pirate groups might be the ones causing trouble.
Yondu was about to leave when Loki grabbed him and said, "Are you crazy? Wasn't your ship part of the fleet? If your subordinates had planned this in advance, you could be blown to bits halfway!"
Only then did Yondu snap back to reality. He turned to Loki, who shook his head and said, "I can't open an interstellar teleportation portal for you. It's bound to pass through the magical defense network. Do you want to bring the Supreme Magician over as well? If he finds out that you guys are quarreling near Earth, none of us will have a good outcome!"
After some thought, Loki took out his phone and said, "I have a way. I can borrow a spaceship from Wakanda. As long as you use their ship to leave, you should be safe. If you guys are going to fight, make sure you do it outside of the Milky Way. If you wake up Odin, don't blame me for not stepping in."
Yondu shivered at the reminder, and then he realized that his biggest issue at the moment was that he was still within the Nine Major Kingdoms. Any disturbance he caused would be right under the watchful eyes of Thor and Odin, coupled with a Supreme Magician. He was bound to be badly scarred this time, dead or alive.
"Teleportation is okay within Earth. I'll take you to Wakanda first. I have some connections with their King. You should board the spaceship and leave as fast as you can!"
After saying that, Loki teleported with Yondu to Wakanda, where they found T'Challa observing an experiment at the Royal Research Institute. Learning about the situation, T'Challa agreed without hesitation, aware of the significance of the blue-skinned alien to the Nine Kingdoms. He had no desire to offend Asgard, so he waved his hand and said, "Open the aircraft hangar!"
No, not a battleship." Yondu immediately negated the suggestion, saying, "I need the smallest spaceship, it should be small enough to fit only me. A spaceship this size won't be detected by the mainship's fire control radar of the Ravagers."
T'Challa nodded response. Soon, a small disc-shaped spacecraft hovered in front of Yondu who boarded it swiftly and sped toward the stars.
However, unbeknownst to him, there was a solitary green egg nestled quietly behind the passenger seat.
