Chapitre 217: Siege Defense (II)

From atop the wall, Zorkan, Mochi and Latsu could see a sea of grayish black skeletons and greenish purple corpses not far from them. The undead army limped and hobbled, mindlessly dragging their bodies towards the enemy elves. 

Soon, they entered the attack range of the defending Rangers. They readied their bows and notched their arrows to the bowstring. They adjusted their bows, taking an aim at the enemy in the distance. Then they waited for the command. 

Tut Tu Tu Tut! 

The war bugle resounded on the western wall, signaling the start of the first wave of attacks. 

As one of a whole, the rangers released their arrows at the same time. Air around the wall vibrated with the sounds of thrumming bowstrings and the dark sky lit up by the light of the flying arrows tips.
