Chapitre 56: Lyon Empire (1)

Lyon Empire is one of the three most powerful empires in the world of Aredia. No one knows which one is the strongest of the three as they have never fought against each other directly. Whenever a battle happens between them, it would always be through proxies, never a direct battle.

There are many reasons why they never fought each other.

First no two of the three share direct boundaries with each other. The boundary they shared would be through the subordinate kingdoms that have pledged to them.

So the battles that were fought would always happen in these kingdoms, not between the Empires.

Second, if they wage a war, it would mean that they have to fight until only one of them survives. If that happens the third one will take advantage of the battle and swallow both of them. So as an unwritten rule of survival, they keep check on the battles between them and make sure that they wouldn't become a full-fledged war.
