At the mention of the island, King Michael stiffened, just as I expected him to. I knew that was where his dead wife was from, so I expected him to have this reaction. I didn't want to get into that subject, but I needed to know more about what was going on there.

"What of it? We have been isolated for the last two weeks, and reports are coming in, but my people are having trouble going through them all. A lot seems to be going on all over the world," King Michael sighed after a long pause.

"From what I hear, The goddess Tryst is waiting for me in Havenby. She is there because of a conflict going on in the Emerald Chain Islands, and she wants my help," I explained, but it felt weird to even say. 

Akasha, the Beast of Destruction was the weakest out of everyone, and she nearly killed me. What could I actually do to help a Goddess?
