Chapitre 58: Shit Keeps Breaking

Dirt kicked up as I turned the handlebars to the left, barely avoiding a fireball throw at us. What the hell were they feeding those damn horses?! They had been on our asses for the last ten miles, and even when I pinned it, I could barely keep ahead of the nightmare beasts!

"How much longer until we reach the forest?" Lilliana's voice asked, playing over the speaker in my helmet, and I threw a hologram of the map in front of the ATV to float in the air. It could only be seen through our visors thanks to many individual accomplishments of others I had combined together.

"Well over 130 miles," I said as I quickly scanned over the map, but then the princess pointed at the map.

"There is a thick, dark forest, but it is filled with monsters. We might lose some time, but we can't keep doing this!" Lilliana suggested, and I nodded, mentally planning a route to the location that she pointed out.
