I sat close to my mom as I watched her eat, feeling happy because she was regaining her strength and I felt happy that Kate's plan didn't work.

After a long while, my phone rang and when I looked, I saw it was Andrew calling. I ignored the call as I didn't even care to pick it up. I was so angry and didn't want him to call me. Why was he ever disturbing me? I always told him never to speak with me again.

The more I ended his calls, the more he kept calling, but was there something important he wanted to talk about. I sighed, walked away from where my mom was, and picked up the call, placing the phone on my ear.

"What, I am busy right now, and I think you are disturbing me. Can you stop calling my line?"

Just as I was about to end the call, he spoke, making me stop.

"I believe you, Linda."

I stopped as I wondered what he was talking about, placing the call back on my ear as I whispered.
