With his training vest back on to stave off some of the cold, Jason walked towards a setup for the post-match interview.

It was finally his turn to be interviewed and after being called, he walked towards the reporters with his hands tucked into the coat he had put on over the training vest.

Surprisingly, his hands were empty despite his performance in the match because whoever was deciding to hand out MOTM awards had thought that Dybala's three assists were more worthy of the award than Jason's two goals.

Jason couldn't fault their logic, but it didn't feel too good to have been passed over even after his performance in the match.

The fleeting thought that if the manager had left him on the field, he might have completed a hat-trick and would have then been more than worthy of the MOTM award, had popped up in his head, but he shook it away.

The award could still have ended up going to Dybala even if he did score a hat-trick.
