Chapitre 64: Past and Present

Kevin, who was rushing towards the newly bought house at high speed inside the cab, poked his head out the window when he found a bunch of police cars following him. As their cab stopped several policemen stepped out and surrounded his car.

"Mr. Kevin Wells, may I request you to step out of your vehicle."

"Officer, what happened?"

"We've received credible news that you're an accomplice in the bank robbery yesterday noon."

"What? That's impossible. I'm not, I didn't do anything.."

"Worry not mister, this is just an open investigation, a questionnaire, and if you're innocent, you'll be released soon. So I suggest you cooperate and come with us."

"Sir, I didn't do anything. I wasn't even there when the robbery happened, I was at the hospital, I was… ."
