Chapitre 134: Are my hands so dirty, My Lord?

Days turned into weeks as the boys diligently watched over the eggs, hoping and praying for them to hatch.

One evening, with the sun setting behind the mountains, a crack suddenly appeared in one of the eggs.

"This one is mine," Arnulp claimed, his eyes wide with excitement as he watched the first egg begin to hatch.

"Then this one is mine," Rast quickly responded, claiming the other egg that began to crack shortly after.

Rastislav and Arnulp held their breath, hardly daring to move. Slowly, the crack widened, and a small, scaly snout emerged.

"It's hatching, Arnulp!" Rastislav exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder and excitement.

Arnulp could hardly contain his joy. "We did it, Rast!"

Arnulp's dragon was the first to fully break free, a tiny creature with shimmering scales that glistened in the fading light.
