Natalie opened her mouth to tell Kevin all about Bella when their focus on each other was interrupted by the sudden arrival of a taxi nearby. The unexpected sound of a car door opening drew their attention and both turned to see a little girl stepping out.

"Anna?"

Anna beamed, her eyes bouncing between the donuts and Kevin, she jogged across the garden and threw her arms around Natalie's neck for a hug.

"What brings you here?" Natalie asked, a huge smile lighting up her face.

"I've got a lesson today!" She released her hold on Natalie and turned to look at Kevin.
