Natalie's frustration seemed to escalate the higher Javier drove her up the winding roads of the Santa Monica Mountains. She was irritated at her husband's behavior, thinking he could keep someone on her tail and pull her out of places whenever he pleased. If Kevin hadn't looked ready to start a fight with Javier, she wouldn't have agreed to get in that car with him.

"Just wait until I'm with you, Alonso. I won't let you get away with this," she muttered under her breath.

Arriving at what Javier called Alonso's summer estate, she took a moment to check out the surroundings. The house was very modern, looking like one of those smart ones that operate on solar energy. It had a natural charm, blending with its wooden exterior against the backdrop of other mountain peaks. Trying not to let her fascination with the house distract her from her plan to push back against Alonso's possessiveness, she gathered all her anger to the surface before stepping out of the Mercedes.
