Natalie was cuddled up near Alonso on their bed, tracing infinity symbols on his chest while he ran his hand through her hair repeatedly.
"You're impossible," she teased while shaking her head.
"Hey, I'm not made of stone, you know? After all that you pulled back there, both of us needed to release the tension somewhere."
"I had no idea there were so many ways," she was genuinely impressed.
"I have a confession to make."
Would he say that he loves me now? She frowned at that idea.
"When I said that what matters to me is to be your last, I did so because I didn't think it's fair for it to matter whether you've been to bed with another man before me or not." He cringed then muttered a prayer of thanks that such a thing did not happen. "...Knowing that I'm your first makes me very happy. That's just the way it is."
A smile formed on her face and he mirrored it as he played with a strand of her hair.
