Natalie dipped the cloth next to the bowl into the warm water and carefully dabbed her father-in-law's beard. She was very happy with herself for having a steady hand after the humiliating experience she had endured.

"Next, use the shaving brush to apply a generous amount of shaving cream. It's crucial for a smooth glide of the razor," Juan continued, handing Natalie the brush.

Natalie swirled the brush in the shaving cream and lathered Alonso Senior's beard. She was filled with nostalgia reminiscing about the times she watched her father using a brush to shave his morning beard. The thought brought a smile to her face and transformed the experience into a tolerable one as she tried to imagine it was her father sitting in the chair.

"This will protect your cheeks," she murmured as she made sure the foam was thick just the way it used to be when her father applied it.

Alonso Senior gave her a confused look when he noticed the change on her face.
