Chapitre 186: Not Close Enough

Xiang Ling swung her leg at the intruder and it got him flying backward. But he was quick to regain his balance. She was ready to attack him again when the door of her toom flew open and a man appeared in front of her with a sword in his hand.

She watched in surprise as Xu Wei fought with the intruder. Surprisingly, the young man was good with his sword and it didn't take long before he overpowered the intruder. However, just as he was about to struck the final blow, the other person turned into a ball of demonic energy and escaped through the window.

Realizing that Xu Wei was ready to chase after the demon, Xiang Ling stopped him. "There's no need." She told him before she finally let go of his arm.

"But Master, he's a demon." Xu Wei stated the obvious while seeking permission to chase after the intruder.
