Best book in the genre. I'm not even kidding. 10/10. The first chapter alone is such a ride! We see mc struggle with his day-to-day mundane life where he's stuck in a trap contract, to finally getting a sliver of hope - a chance of living a life he knew he was worthy of... when the world comes to an end. Just the beginning alone makes this novel a masterpiece! Sheer masterpiece, I say!

Hello, this book is a mix of many ideas that I really like. Magic/Cultivation/Mind Games/Manipulation/Egoist Main Character. If I was to summarize the situation that Lucian will be in the first few chapters. It would be like this: Lucian has the worst talents possible, but as a great skill that will help him survive through multiple ordeals. He will have to be crafty and use his smarts to get out of multiple situations. He won't be the typical Overpowered Character, in fact, his allies will be the Overpowered ones as he will try to manipulate them to act how he truly wishes. FYI: Don't expect a main character with good values that thinks of saving everyone, that simply won't happen in this book.

This book is really well written. I'll definitely keep reading it.It's a very niche concept with just enough of a interesting spin to make it successful. It reads really good with no unnecessary dialogue. And overall the main character is relatable if maybe slightly unrealistic.I was reading this book just cuz I was curious about my competition, but now I'm hooked. Good stuff, Jallen😛.

Loving the novel currently author is doing a very good job in describing the characters and mc personality hope author keeps up the good work PS best character is Ava il fight u if u disagree.

I mean I have to say the author has definitely has given his best . What Can I say more though 🤷 Characters are good but the story development is slow for my liking. But it is a preference. 4.8/5

Jallen is showing why he deserved to win silver in WSA 2023. He opens the novel swinging and it draws you in instantly. The story is interesting, the writing is impeccable and the characters feel real and well thought out. This is definitely going to be a strong contender this year and can’t wait to see where it goes. Great book from a great author! I have read his other novel "The Strongest Assassin Reincarnates in Another World" and I'm sure this one won't disappoint either! From what I've read, the premise of the book seems to be a mix of Regressor Instruction Manual and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, which I both like very much. So, I can only imagine that I will like this work too!
