Chapitre 97: Antaf's Strategy

Red smoke of the color of deoxygenated dark blood covered Max, the dark color mixing with the unopposed darkness of the place that had the features of an ordinary bed room. Nothing of him could be seen for now, engulfed by the shifting smoke.

Through the two oppositely placed shattered windows of the disoriented bed room, the stagnant air was barely capable of circulating.

Max remained inside the red smoke, mixed with harrowing darkness. He resembled a cloud of redness summoned to remain standing in one place. His eyes were closed. When he slowly opened them, he saw red texts telling him that he was not in the human form anymore.

Silently, the red smoke naturally followed the course of time to dissipate out through the shattered windows, leaving behind two of Max's exact copies coming into view...
