Chapitre 307: A Proud Son of the Heavens

"XANDER!"

Calix's voice thundered in the room, flaring vibrations in its wake. Xander's accusation detonated his suppressed wrath. 

How dared he?

How dared he?!

Intense rage swallowed Calix. He gripped his fists hard, digging the nails deeper into his palms. Fury heated his entire body as his blazing gaze was locked on Xander.

"Apologize to my wife. You've disrespected her."

Calix lowered his voice, seemingly trying to hold himself back. The eerieness of his quiet tone carried along his stifled anger. The whites in his glowering eyes reddened.

Xander, Leslie and Violet froze under the man's explosion of fury. None expected to see Calix abruptly lashing out right after the former's shocking accusation toward Leslie.

"C-Calix... calm down..."

As the party involved, Leslie was perplexed by Xander's accusation. She didn't know from who or where he heard such a distorted truth.
