Chapitre 192: Percy Jackson 4

It didn't take much convincing to get Leo to drop everything and come here, apparently, I called during Freyna's increasingly frequent tantrums.

After introducing Hades and Leo to each other, I left to explore further. I wasn't dense, I knew that they wanted me out of there, Persephone had an excellent instinct for good and bad, likely from having a moody but kind husband and him being one of the few nice persons in the family.

I made my way through the Fields of Punishment, Asphodel, Elysium, and Isles of the Blest to Tartarus but not before swiping several of the plants from Persephone's garden. I was getting increasingly disappointed with this Underworld the more I saw, the punishments were childish and the reward for leading a good life was having a nice neighborhood in the afterlife.

Even if you live a life neither good nor bad, you will have to stand in a wheat field for all eternity, slowly losing your memories. That was more punishment than the Fields of Punishment, hopefully, things would change around here when Leo becomes the big boss, which I had no doubt would happen.

In front of me was a seemingly endless deep chasm, its end wasn't just hidden by darkness but the darkness from Nyx herself, not even gods could look through this darkness but I wasn't a god, the darkness didn't scare me.

Time to go Kratos on this cliff, let's roll the music.

As I was falling head first for hours, Tartarus filled with the sound of music for the first time since the beginning of time. Titans, Monsters, Gods, and whatever abominations were calling Tartarus their home and prison were hearing the sound of joy for the first time in a long time, but that did not mean that they appreciated it. This was a place of suffering, how could they suddenly bear to hear music?

By the time I finally reached the ground and smashed into the ground face-first, I was already surrounded by a horde of monsters and titans, though most of them died from just me hitting the ground and doing considerable damage to the surroundings.

I already stopped the music that seemingly came from nowhere but they were still pissed, not very kind to newcomers I see.

"Well, alright. Come at me, I want to see how you guys taste, I hope you leave a better aftertaste than this air, I need something to get rid of this taste"

My first impression of Tartarus was better than the Underworld but that didn't mean it was great. It was hot but not even enough to smelt iron, the air was toxic but the only torturous part about it was its horrible taste, it's no wonder monsters love to eat demigods, even dirt tastes better than the air in this damn place.

Other than that, there was nothing bad about this place, the monsters also tasted bad but they were a lot better than the air so they relieved the damage to my taste buds a bit.

I'm seriously starting to lose interest, I will just check out the famous Mansion of Night that even Zeus didn't dare to enter when he chased after Hypnos after he made Zeus fall asleep on Hera's command.

On my way to the deeper and darker parts of Tartarus, I could already see the monsters I ate reform in what looked like giant pimples made of flesh. I better get going before they pop, I don't want to be shown in whatever they are made of.

The entry to the mansion looked creepy but I wasn't a coward like Zeus and I could see past the darkness. While there were many terrors of the night hiding near the entrance, I also saw some other beings, Primordial to be specific.

They all were in their divine form, which showcased their nature. I ignored the all-devouring darkness of Erebos and the blinding light of Hemera as I was too captivated by the mesmerizing sight of the night sky.

Primordials weren't like these vain gods on the surface who needed worship and only represented a part of their concept. Primordial was similar to the divinity I had consumed, so it came as little surprise that I was captivated by the personified concept of the night when I already liked to watch the night sky.

The only problem was that these Primordials were even less welcoming to visitors than gods, so before I could even enter the mansion, a beam of endless light hit me square in the face, followed by being swallowed by absolute darkness.

They clearly weren't interested in a friendly chat, so don't blame me for being rude. Damn, I think my inner young master is coming out. Time to go for a run.

The next moment everything came to a stop, at least from my perspective. I just increased my speed to a level that even a god of time or light wouldn't understand. After inviting myself in after not receiving any answer after knocking, I walked over to the family.

With a simple slap, I turned Erebos, the Primordial of Darkness, into a misty lack paste before moving on to Hemera, the Primordial of Day, and gouged her eyes out. It was strange how even in their divine form they had eyes.

Next, I grabbed Nyx and stuffed her in a small container. I didn't capture her because of lust or anything like that, I caught her out of pure appreciation, so I will just put her in a vegetation state and hang up somewhere where I can always appreciate the view of the very embodiment of the night sky.

Of course, it had to be mentioned that since I abducted the night and killed the darkness, the universe stopped having its concepts, turning the entire universe into one huge sunbath for all eternity, or at least until a new primordial of darkness and night is born or created.

Having everything bathed in a blinding light is like being flash banged 24/7, annoying even to me, not to mention all the humans that suddenly went blind.
