"Leaving a letter behind, huh? It sounds like a far easier idea in my head. I don't know whom I should address this letter to anyway."
Meria thought about all the people his life he could write a letter to.
His father was the first-person Meria thought of.
But his father would not appreciate getting words from a dead person.
He still remembered what happened to the letter his mother had left for his father - it was still unopened.
"Well, his father was out of the picture, and I don't want to write to my stepmother or step-sister. As for my friends-"
Meria paused and remembered the people he had considered as his friends.
His best friend, the emperor, was dead, so it was a foolish idea to leave a letter to him, and the other friend Meria had when he was younger…was missing.
No one remembered who that 'other friend' of Meria was when he was younger.
