The next morning, Chi Cheng visited the healer's infirmary to assess his brother's condition. However, the disciples stationed on guard turned him away and informed him that no one was allowed to enter the infirmary without Han Zhimin's presence.

Defeated and upset, Chi Cheng returned to his room. He received a letter from the Grandmaster informing him of their schedule for the day, which left him with two hours free until the time of their meeting.

After consuming Han Xuelian's blood, he discovered that his leg had completely healed. There wasn't any pain when he exercised it and his shoulder felt more functional than before. Even the burn scar on his hand from grabbing the fire embers had healed without a trace.

The Grandmaster's Qi still coursed through his bloodstream which made him wonder if he would be able to channel the energy into his earrings. It was odd that his meridians rejected Han Xuelian's Qi before, yet his blood welcomed it.
