The two talked and laughed over their milkshake for around an hour. After a while, the two left the coffee shop and Elaine lured Peter to a clothes shop and he had no idea what was coming to him.
The two walked in and Elaine started to flick through a bunch of different dresses, shirts, and skirts. She picked out about half the store and asked for Peter's opinion on everything placing the hanged clothes in front of her. After around 30 minutes of Elaine choosing everything she wanted, she dragged Peter to the changing rooms so she could try everything on.
Peter spent the next hour trying to make Elaine decide which ones she should buy as she tried them all out. While she was getting a red dress on Peter left and sneakily bought a pair of nice silver earrings.
Elaine walked out of the store and placed her wallet back in her purse while Peter walked out with two full bags stuffed with clothes Elaine just bought. While the two started to walk Elaine's heel broke and she fell onto Peter's chest. "You alright?" asked Peter worryingly.
Elaine continued to keep her hand on Peter's chest feeling his toned body and blushing bright red. Peter placed the bags down and gave Elaine a hand over to a nearby bench.
"You're a lot more muscular than I thought you were," said Elaine after calling a cab.
Peter's cheeks beamed red "Erh, Thanks" he replied quite embarrassed. He sat next to Elaine on the bench and the two talked until the cab arrived. Peter placed the bags in the back of the car and the two headed in.
They made it to Elaine's house and like gentlemen, Peter held the door her and helped her to the door before carrying her bags.
"Tonight was fun Peter, I'd love it if we did it again sometime," said Elaine leaning on her open front door.
"Yeah, I had a lot of fun too. Before you go let me give you a little something" replied Peter as he pulled out the pair of earrings he bought earlier.
"I'm not ready for marriage yet" Elaine joked.
"I know it's not the most expensive or extravagant gift in the world but I thought it would be really good on you," said Peter who was looking away from her out of embarrassment.
Elaine took the little box and looked at it for a while and admired them. "Thank you," she said before giving Peter a small kiss on the cheek. "See you when I see you," she said while hiding behind her door.
Peter backed away a little flustered due to what happened and he could only reply with "Yeah, see ya" before Elaine closed the door.
Peter stayed at the door staring before being interrupted "Ay, I ain't got all day. You gonna get in the car or no?" yelled the cab driver from his rolled-down window.
Peter apologized profusely while sitting down in the cab as it made its way home. He looked out the window until he saw his home pull up in his vision and he prepared his wallet.
"That'll be $27.50," said the cab.
Peter reluctantly pulled out the money and handed it to the cab before leaving and entering his home. Thank god Aunt May gave him all that extra cash or he was most likely fucked.
Peter was about to go upstairs when Aunt May came from the dining room and while leaning on the doorway asked "So, how was she, Peter?".
Peter turned around and replied "She was really pretty and quite funny actually, She wasn't what I expected in the least. I thought she was one of those popular girls who always ask about the tea but she was so kind and genuinely wanted to be there".
"Looks like you had fun then" smiled Aunt May and Peter also grinned before running to his room.
"He's growing up to be fine man, isn't he Ben" muttered Aunt May before returning to the dining room to continue reading her book.
THE NEXT DAY
Peter woke up with small bags under his eyes and was still very sleepy. Throughout the night he and Elaine exchanged messages constantly leaving Peter with hardly any sleep.
He slumped his way to the bathroom to brush his teeth, putting a little too much force on the toothpaste making it spray all over the sink and brush. "Fuck" he said to himself sighing before he cleaned it all up.
He got changed into his school clothes and headed downstairs to the table to eat his breakfast. He yawned as Aunt May brought two plates of bacon and eggs placing them on the table.
"You packed everything for your internship," asked Aunt May.
"Inter what? What are you talking about" replied Peter confused.
"The one Tony Stark invited you to, you better not have forgotten Peter" responded Aunt May worried.
Peter's eyes widened as he ran upstairs preparing his suitcase with clothes, his phone charger, etc.
"When will he learn" Aunt May giggled.
After a very stressful 30 minutes, Peter walked downstairs in his casual clothes carrying a large suitcase.
"Did you forget anything?" questioned Aunt May.
"No, I checked everything" Peter replied.
"Good. Listen to your seniors and try to learn everything you can. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity don't muck it up ok?" Aunt May responded holding Peter's shoulders. "By the way how are you getting there? He never really mentioned it" questioned Aunt May.
"That's a good point. I'm not really surrreeee" said Peter slowing down towards the end as he heard the loud sounds of a helicopter close in. "No way" he muttered before running outside to open the door and see a Stark Industries Helicopter land on the road in front of his house. Peter had his mouth wide open in shock.
The helicopter landed and a man in a suit walked out while fixing it and started to stride toward Peter. "Peter, I take it?" he said.
Aunt May waddled to the front taking Peter's suitcase with her and also stood still in awe at what she was witnessing.
"Yes, that's me" Peter responded still in shock.
"Come with me. And let me take that for you" he said gesturing Peter to get on the helicopter before taking his suitcase.
"Be safe alright Peter, and don't talk to strangers" yelled Aunt May to try and be louder than the roaring Helicopter.
"I will" yelled Peter in response before taking his seat on the Helicopter and smiling.
Peter thought about everything that had happened to him so far and hyped himself up. "Soon, I'll be part of the Avengers" he muttered, grinning.
