Chapitre 76: Silent dread

Rosemary's POV:

At this point, I am just counting the days until Mr Griffin finally has enough of my bullshit and fires me. Not that he ever needed me around anyways. So, I feel like I am pushing my luck whenever I can't show up or need to leave early like this, especially lately. 

I traverse the streets of Grimsebrook, going from one block to another, hoping the only reason Izzy hasn't been able to answer my calls all day long was because she's been busy this whole time. 

Izzy doesn't have a pre-defined day of the week as a day off. She mostly works on an hourly basis, and her shifts are shuffled around every so often. She still gets one day off every week no matter what though. 

Since she hasn't been replying to either my texts nor my calls, I assume today is not her day off. 

Even so, I couldn't sit in place, I felt the need to leave work early in order to make sure she's okay. I haven't spoken to her in two days.
