(Play Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Yusei's battle)
Yusei added both cards to the card holder, making it a total of 5 cards, then took one. He held the card up close to his face's left side. "Next up I activate the Stardust Shimmer Spell card!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, swiping his right hand over the Duel Disk and inserting the card before holding the hand out to the right side.
A copy of the Spell appeared in front of Yusei's Duel Runner. Declan raised an eyebrow, having never seen that card before. "Stardust Shimmer lets me banish monsters in my graveyard to Synchro Summon a Dragon-Type Synchro Monster in my Graveyard!" Yusei explained Stardust Shimmer's effect, much to Declan's surprise at hearing this. "What!?" He called out, no knowledge of Synchro Summoning a monster from the Graveyard.
The You Show gang all smiled brightly at hearing this, aware of just what monster Yusei intends to Summon. "There's only one monster in Yusei's Graveyard that fits the bill". Rin stated, smiling a confident grin with both arms crossed. "I'm so gonna enjoy this". Yuya remark, earning a small giggle from Lulu since that's exactly she was thinking of.
Stardust Shimmer's card disappeared, and a black portal appeared above the ground in front of Yusei's Yusei Go. Inside of the portal was a dark world, but suddenly two lights appeared inside of it. "I banish the Level 6 Stardust Charge Warrior and Level 2 Nitro Synchron!" Yusei declared, the two lights transforming into Stardust Charge Warrior and Nitro Synchron.
Nitro Synchron's body gleam green and burst apart into two green lights. The lights turned into two green rings that surrounded Stardust Charge Warrior, the Warrior-Type monster turning orange transparent with six stars appearing within.
6 + 2 = 8.
"Clustering wishes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon!" Yusei chanted, a thin beam appearing in between the lights, rings and Stardust Charge Warrior's body before it transformed into a bright massive beam. It erupted out of the black portal into the sky above. "Let's rev it up, Stardust Dragon!" Yusei cried out, the massive beam clearing away to reveal Stardust Dragon with the Synchro monster crying it, spreading both wings out fully to fly with glittering energy surrounding and raining down from it.
Stardust Dragon ATK: 2500/ Level: 8.
(Music end)
Everyone stared at the Dragon-Type Synchro Monster that was flying above Yusei once more, the You Show gang having smiles full of belief. "Stardust is back!" Allie cried out in delight, throwing both fists into the air. "Yusei's still in this! He can win!" Serenity cried out, full of hope just from the sight of Yusei's ace monster. "And how exactly is he gonna do that? That dragon isn't strong enough". Sora pointed out, reminding everyone of the difference in ATK Points.
Sora's words wiped the smiles off of Serenity, Allie, Tate and Frederick, while Yuya, Gong and Zuzu all frowned a bit. Lulu and Rin, however, were still smiling with hope because the saw the look on Yusei's face, the same one whenever he was about to make a comeback.
Yusei and Declan turned a corner on their left, Yusei still in the lead by a good 10 feet.
"I activate the special ability of Stardust Wurm in my graveyard!" Yusei called out, a card slotting out of his Duel Disk's Graveyard and he took it. "If this card is in my hand or Graveyard when I control a Level 8 or higher Dragon Synchro Monster, I can Special Summon it but it's banish when it leaves the field!" Yusei explained, placing the card down beside Stardust Dragon's card on the Monster Zone on its right.
"Come out! Stardust Wurm!" Yusei called out as a portal appeared and a small dragon wurm monster that greatly resembled Stardust Dragon flew out of it. Stardust Wurm let out a cry, flapping its wings once.
Stardust Wurm ATK: 0/ Level: 1.
Lulu, Rin, Zuzu, Serenity and Allie all absolutely adored the little dragon monster the moment they laid eyes on it, but Yusei wasn't done just yet. "Next I activate Jet Synchron's special ability! By discarding one card from my hand..." Yusei began to explain, taking Junk Converter's card and sent it to the Graveyard. Then Jet Synchron's card slotted out and he took hold of it.
"I can Special Summon this card! Ha!" Yusei finished explaining, placing Jet Synchron's card down next to Stardust Wurm's card. Another portal appeared and Jet Synchron emerged from within it, a flash of light going off of it.
Jet Synchron ATK: 500/ Level: 1.
Declan raised an eyebrow at the two Level 1 monsters Yusei Summoned, wondering what he's planning with those two. Everyone else watching the duel were thinking the same thing. "What's he gonna do with those two weaklings? Beg for mercy". Dipper said with a mocking tone in his voice, not the least bit intimidated by Jet Synchron and Stardust Wurm.
Rin lifted both arms up and gently placed her hands against the glass window, staring at Yusei's three monsters. 'With those monsters he could Synchro Summon a Level 10 Monster, but he'd need Majestic Dragon. And even if he just uses Jet Synchron and Stardust Wurm, all he could Summon is a Level 2 Synchro-' Rin thought to herself, before to grind to an immediate halt and widen both eyes in absolute shock.
She looked once more, but not just at Yusei's monsters this time. But at the field and the Duel Runners, mind immediately thinking of one of Yusei's most special monsters that he's unable to use normally without a Duel Runner. But with the way things are now, just maybe... just maybe it was possible. "Yusei... Don't tell me you're aiming for that..." Rin uttered to herself, feeling a sense of excitement bubbling up within herself.
Back with the duel; Yusei gave a small grin since he's a bit excited himself. "Level 1 Jet Synchron tunes with Level 1 Stardust Wurm!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, rearing his right hand in before throwing it up into the air. Both Jet Synchron and Stardust Wurm ascended into the air as Yusei's command, much to Rin's growing excitement.
(Play Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Clear Mind)
The Tuner Monster's body gleamed brightly, before it transformed into a single light and it turned into a green ring. The ring flew spun around a bit before straightening itself and came down to Stardust Wurm. The Dragon-Type monster flew and began to pass through the ring, turning orange transparent as it did so until it stopped halfway. A single light appeared within the transparent dragon's body and lined up within.
"Gathering wishes will call out a new speed's horizon! Become the path its light shines upon!" Yusei chanted as a thin beam appeared in between the ring, star and Stardust Wurm's body before it transformed into a bigger and more powerful one.
"I Synchro Summon! The power of hope, the Synchro Tuner Monster, Formula Synchron!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, the beam clearing away to reveal Yusei's Synchro Tuner Monster Formula Synchron with the Machine-Type Monster doing a literal flashy entrance, giving a cry.
Formula Synchron ATK: 200/ Level: 2.
Declan blinked at what Yusei called this new Synchro Monster. "A Synchro Tuner Monster...?" He questioned in utter disbelief, no knowledge whatsoever about a Monster that's both a Synchro and Tuner Monster. He's seen many Synchro Monster, but none of them were a Tuner monster as well. Once again Yusei exceeds his expectations with this "Formula Synchron" Synchro Monster.
Everyone else watching was surprised as well, the only exceptions were Rin, Lulu and Zuzu. Lulu and Rin had been aware of Synchro Tuner Monsters for a while and Zuzu had learned about them from her duel against Yusei.
Speaking of the green-haired girl, she had a massive smile on her face because Formula Synchron confirmed her suspicions on what Yusei's planning.
"Accel Synchro!" Rin cried out with pure excitement in her voice, catching the attention of everyone. They turned to look at her in confusion since they had no clue what she's talking about. Lulu's the only one that knows what she means and grew her own excited face because she's been dying to see Yusei's famous Accel Synchro as well.
"Since Stardust Wurm and Jet Synchron were Summoned by their effects, they're banished instead of going to the Graveyard". Yusei informed Declan, leaning forward a little and gripped both handlebars tight. "Next, I activate Formula Synchron's special ability! Once a turn I can draw one card from my deck!" Yusei explained the Synchro Tuner Monster's special ability, turning his gaze over to his deck.
He took hold of the deck's top card with the right hand's thumb, index and middle fingers, yet didn't draw just yet. "My answer in this duel... lies within the speed!" Satellite's Shooting Star stated, drawing the card and throwing his right hand up into the air. He turned his head and turned the card over and saw that it was just what he needed.
He added the card to his card holder, then looked forward. "This is my full power... Clear Mind!" Yusei cried out, Duel Runner suddenly accelerating with a purple light enveloping him, Formula Synchron and Stardust Dragon. Even the mark of the Crimson Dragon briefly appeared in front of the Yusei Go as the winds surrounding it became visible to Yusei.
Everyone else watching the duel were now watching with wide eyes full of shock, wonder and disbelief. Lulu and Rin had massive smiles with their eyes showing the complete awe they're in right now because this was something they've been waiting to see. "This is so awesome!" Rin cried out with a massive smile, feeling as if she were in a happy dream right now. Lulu gave a nod of the head, fully agreeing with her "sister".
The whole world around Yusei, Stardust Dragon and Formula Synchron had turned light purple as they went faster and faster by the second. Yusei brought up his right hand and spoke. "Level 2 Formula Synchron tunes with Level 8 Stardust Dragon!" Yusei declared throwing his right hand out, hair blowing from the intense winds. Stardust Dragon grinned a little, while Formula Synchron's body gleamed brightly before it burst into two lights.
The lights flew forward until they were out of sight. But then two green rings appeared, heading straight for Yusei and Stardust Dragon. The two passed through them, the world changing to a bright green one after they passed the second ring. The purple lights intensified at the front of Yusei's Duel Runner, bathing him in its energy and covering him from sight. It was the same for Stardust Dragon.
"Clustering crystal dreams, open the door to a new evolution! Become the path its light shines upon!" Yusei chanted inside the green world, throwing his right hand up into the air to Stardust Dragon. The lights were like crystal energy bathing them as they raced down inside the green world, the road itself somehow a bright green road.
The energy intensified further, completely covering them from view with them appearing as if they were coming together. "ACCEL SYNCHRO!" Yusei shouted out to the heavens with everything he had, throwing his right hand out to the side with a card in hand. He turned it around, revealing it to be a blank card. Then, gold dust came off the blankness of the card, revealing the window of the card as if the blank form was just a cover for its true appearance; Shooting Star Dragon.
Several green rings appeared out of nowhere in front of Yusei and Stardust Dragon, expanding and growing bigger as they passed them until both duelist and Synchro Monster vanished completely.
Declan, who had been watching this phenomenon happen on his Duel Runner, blinked and grew a stupefied expression at seeing his opponent disappear like that. "He vanished!?" He called out wide-eyed, no clue whatsoever what just happened. Some sort of pressure appeared behind LID's president, making Declan look over his left shoulder to see a bright green ring portal appear.
With a loud "boom" like sound, Yusei appeared from the portal with a burst of energy with something flying past him, Declan and the D/D/D Monsters into the air, a few more green rings briefly appearing past the duelists. "Appear! SHOOTING STAR DRAGON!" Yusei cried out the name of his Accel Synchro Monster. The "something" flew around the sky and spun around, its speed unmatched, before flying down to Yusei and revealed itself.
Shooting Star Dragon let out a roar with all its energy, stopping right behind its duelist with glittering stars raining off of its body.
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 3300/ Level: 10.
Everyone stared at Shooting Star Dragon with wide eyes, the majestic monster an alien sight for them and what Yusei called that Synchro Summon he just did to call it forth. Lulu and Rin had literal anime stars in their eyes as they stared at Yusei's Shooting Star Dragon like it was a real-life legend before them. Rin more so than Lulu since she's a Synchro Duelist and this was something out of this world for her.
Declan was rendered speechless as he stared at Shooting Star Dragon, almost finding it hard to believe what he's seeing. "Shooting... Star Dragon? What kind of monster is that?" He questioned, turning his gaze to Yusei for an explanation.
Satellite's Shooting Star gave a grin at his opponent and spoke. "It's an Accel Synchro Monster; Shooting Star Dragon. A Synchro Monster that requires a Synchro Monster and a Synchro Tuner Monster". Yusei answered LID's Synchro Monster, further increasing Declan's shock at hearing this.
"Accel... Synchro...?" Gong questioned, petrified at the Accel Synchro Monster that Yusei Summoned. "Whoa... This is... SO AWESOME!" Yuya shouted out with a massive smile full of amazement, holding up his clenched right fist.
"You can say that again! This is literally the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life!" Kit literally screamed out in pure delight, face against the window as he stared at Yusei's dragon. Rin laughed out, glad to see she's not the only one over the moon at finally seeing Yusei Accel Synchro Summon Shooting Star Dragon.
Sora was rendered speechless at Yusei's Accel Synchro, but was quick to regain his cool. 'Real fancy I'll admit. But it only has 3300 ATK Points. It's no match for Declan's Dawn King'. Sora thought to himself, yet didn't let himself relax just yet. He needed to know everything about this new monster of Yusei's until he can write it off as something not to worry about.
Declan managed to regain his cool as well and narrow both eyes at Shooting Star Dragon. "Use whatever monster you want. It is still no match for my D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga". The silver-haired boy stated, turning his gaze forward on the road ahead. "That'll change very soon. Thanks to this card". Yusei retorted, taking Smile World's card from the card holder and held it up into the air.
"I activate the Spell card; Smile World!" Satellite's Shooting Star declared, much to the shock of Declan at hearing this.
"Nani!" Declan cried, looking over his left shoulder just as Yusei inserted Smile World's card into his Duel Disk. A large copy of the Spell card appeared beside Yusei's Yusei Go, right before smiley faces erupted out of it. In just a matter of seconds, the whole field was covered in colorful smile faces with the highway seemingly becoming more brighter thanks to them.
The audience watching was surprised once more, especially the You Show gang because that Spell card is one they're all very familiar with. "Smile World?" Zuzu questioned, mind flashing back to days where she was a kid and the joy she felt the first time she saw Smile World. "My dad's card... Hahaha". Yuya laughed out, feeling so happy and amazed at the same time he almost thought this was a dream.
Allie, Tate, Frederick and Serenity were all amazed because this was their first time seeing Smile World in action. Lulu felt happiness inside of herself as well at seeing Smile World's magic again, mind flashing to the happy times of her homeland and how Dueling brought people together with smiles. As for Rin, she looked fascinated with what Smile World can do even without its effect.
Declan looked around his surroundings for a few moments until he looked at Yusei over his left shoulder. "How do you have Yusho Sakaki's card?" He questioned Satellite's Shooting Star, fully aware that Smile World was a card that Yusho Sakaki possessed.
"He gave me this card, that's how!" Yusei answered Declan, giving a small at remembering Yusho giving him this amazing card before he left the Fusion Dimension.
"Smile World increases the ATK Points of all face-up monsters by 100 for every monster on the field! Since there's 5 monsters, that's 500 points!" Yusei explained the Spell card's effect as all six monsters on the field powered up.
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 3300 + 500 = 3800.
D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga ATK: 3500 + 500 = 4000.
D/D/D Doom King Armageddon ATK: 3000 + 500 = 3500.
D/D/D Rebel King Leonidas ATK: 2600 + 500 = 3100.
D/D Pandora ATK: 1700 + 500 = 2200.
"And I'm not done just yet!" Yusei cried out, taking one of the last 2 cards in his hand and held it up. It was a Spell card with the card's image exactly like Smile World's only the smile faces were all comic white with flaming auras around them. "I activate the Spell card; Cosmic Smile World!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, inserting the card into his Duel Disk.
(Cosmic Smile World/ Type: Spell/ Effect: You can only activate this card if you control a face-up monster that's ATK is different by the effect of "Smile World". Select one monster you control, it gains 200 ATK for every monster on the field that's ATK is different by the effect of "Smile World".)
Suddenly some of the smile faces changed colour to comic white with flaming auras appearing over them, much to the further amazement of the kids, Serenity, Lulu and Rin. Yuya, Zuzu and Gong blinked in surprise at seeing the changes to the smiling faces, but didn't really complain as it added a sense of "cool" to it as well.
"I can only activate this card if I control a monster that's ATK Points are different thanks to Smile World. Cosmic Smile World selects one monster I control and powers it up by 200 points for every monster that Smile World powered up!" Yusei explained the Spell card's effect, before pointing right up at Shooting Star Dragon with his right hand's index finger.
"I choose Shooting Star Dragon! And since there's 5 monsters, that's 1000 points!" He declared, a flaming white aura appearing over Shooting Star Dragon with its eyes flashing.
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 3800 + 1000 = 4800.
(Music end)
"4800 ATK Points! Now we're talking!" Yuya cried out with a massive smile on his face. "Now Shooting Star Dragon's a match for Declan's Dawn King!" Serenity stated, clapping both hands together in a delighted manner. "That may be, but it isn't gonna change the outcome". Sora suddenly spoke up, capturing the attention of his friends as they all turned to look at him.
"Shooting Star Dragon can only attack once and it doesn't have enough ATK Points to beat Declan in one hit. And on Declan's turn, he just can take out Yusei's dragon with his Doom King and win the duel". Sora told his friends, reminding them that Declan still had the advantage. "Just keep watching. Yusei isn't done yet". Lulu stated, giving a small glare at the Fusion Duelist before watching the duel once more.
Back in the duel; Declan narrowed his eyes at the powered up Accel Synchro Monster. "Impressive work, Yusei Fudo. But I'm afraid it will amount to nothing!" The silver-haired teenage exclaimed, throwing his right hand out to the side. "I activate the Trap card Dark Contract with the Grave!" Declan cried out, a Trap card appearing on his right side.
The card's image showed D/D/D Gust King Alaxander standing with the ghost of D/D/D Curse King Siegfried floating above it, a dark aura over both of them with the Gust King powering up.
(Dark Contract with the Grave/ Type: Continuous Trap Card/ Effect: Once per turn, during your Standby Phases: Take 1000 damage. During your opponent's turn, you can banish one Fiend-Type Monster from your Graveyard, select one "D/D/D" monster you control and it gains 1000 ATK. If the card you banish is the same card type (Fusion, Synchro, Xyz or Pendulum) as the selected "D/D/D Monster", you can negate one attack from an opponent's monster this turn. This effect lasts till the end of this card, even if this card leaves the field.)
D/D/D Wave King Caesar's card slotted out of Declan's Duel Disk's Graveyard and he held it up. "Like all Dark Contracts, I take 1000 points of damage on my Standby Phase. However, this Trap allows me to banish a Fiend-Type Monster from my Graveyard, select a "D/D/D" Monster I control and increase its ATK Points by 1000. I banish D/D/D Wave King Caesar!" Declan explained the Trap card's effect, pocketing the Xyz Monster in his right pocket.
He then threw his right hand up into the air, gesturing to D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga with it. "I select my D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga!" The silver-haired teenager made his choice. A black aura appeared D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga, powering it up.
D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga ATK: 4000 + 1000 = 5000.
"Oh no! Now its stronger than Shooting Star Dragon!" Serenity gasped in concern, both hands covering her mouth in a scared manner. "And there's more! Since the monster I banished was an Xyz Monster like Kali Yuga, Dark Contract with the Grave can now negate one of your attacks". Declan explained the Trap card's final effect, giving a small grin finished his finished speaking.
The You Show gang all widened their eyes at hearing this. To most of them, that Trap card just sealed off Yusei's only chance of victory. "Well, that settles it. Yusei is gonna lose this duel. Honestly, Yusei's only chance at winning would be if he can attack like 7 times, but there isn't a card that can do that". Sora said with a shrug of the shoulders, grinning a little once at the thought of seeing Duel Academy's greatest threat defeated.
"That's where you're wrong Sora". Lulu spoke up, getting the gang to blink before looking over to her and saw the purple-haired girl smiling a confident smile. "How exactly am I wrong?" Sora questioned the Xyz Duelist, raising an eyebrow at Lulu out of curiosity.
Lulu giggled in response before returning her attention to the duel. "Just watch and you'll see". The Mistress of Birds answered, eager to see Yusei's special power of making the impossible possible.
Back in the duel; Declan and Yusei were closing in on the circle roads with Declan still in the lead. "Declan, this isn't over just yet! I still got cards left to play!" Satellite's Shooting Star declared, taking one of the last two cards in the card holder. "I activate the Equip Spell card Stardust Mirage Bombardment!" Yusei cried out, inserting the card into his Duel Disk before throwing his right hand out to the side.
A Spell card appeared in front of Yusei's Duel Runner. The card's image displayed five different coloured Shooting Star Dragons flying away from five exploding pieces of Meklord Emperor Wisel.
(Stardust Mirage Bombardment/ Type: Equip Spell/ Effect: This card can only be quipped to a "Shooting Star Dragon". The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. Whenever the equipped monster successfully destroys an opponent's monster in battle, your opponent takes 200 points of damage X the destroyed monster's Level. If "Shooting Star Dragon" is banished through its effect, you can banish this card from your Graveyard and Special Summon it to your side of the field.)
The white flaming aura around Shooting Star Dragon grew stronger all of a sudden. "I can only equip this Spell card to Shooting Star Dragon. It gives him 300 more ATK Points and whenever my dragon destroys an opponent's monster, it inflicts 200 points of damage X the destroyed monster's Level!" Yusei explained the Equip Spell card's effect, the Accel Synchro Monster's ATK Points going up once he finished speaking.
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 4800 + 300 = 5100.
"Shooting Star's stronger than Kali Yuga!" Yuya called out with a growing smile full of hope. "That doesn't matter. Shooting Star Dragon can only attack once and it's gonna get blocked". Sora spoke up, reminding the Odd-Eyes Duelist about Dark Contract with the Grave's effect.
"Darn it! If only Yusei's dragon could attack more than once!" Gong growled out with grit teeth, certain that Yusei could just lower Declan's Life Points enough he'll be on the defensive next turn. Lulu and Rin just kept watching with smiles, their belief in Yusei still strong.
Declan grit his teeth, before throwing his right hand out to the side. "I activate D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga's special ability! By using an overlay unit..." The silver-haired teenager explained, Kali Yuga absorbing one of its overlay units.
D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga overlay units: 2 - 1 = 1.
"Then all Spells and Traps on the field are destroyed!" Declan finished explaining, much to the You Show gang's dread at hearing this. Yusei, however, just grinned as he threw his right hand out. "I activate Shooting Star Dragon's special ability! When a Spell, Trap or Monster effect activates that destroys a card, Shooting Star Dragon can negate and destroy that card!" Yusei explained the Accel Synchro Monster's special ability, much to Declan's shock at hearing this.
"Nani!?" He called out, Shooting Star Dragon's eyes flashing a moment before two bright beams shot out of its eyes and headed straight for Kali Yuga. Declan grit his teeth, before facing forward only to give a small gasp at seeing an Action card up ahead. He quickly pressed on the accelerator and went faster. He managed to reach the Action Spell and grab it with perfect timing.
Declan looked and nod in approval at seeing the Action card. "I activate the Action Spell; Moon Barrier!" LID's president declared, inserting the card into his Duel Disk. A copy of the Spell appeared, before a yellow barrier appeared around Kali Yuga. Once the two beam struck, they were instantly deflected. Yuya grit his teeth at seeing this.
The barrier disappeared and Declan gave a pleased grin. "I admit that you've greatly impressed and fascinated me in our duel, Yusei Fudo. But unfortunately for you; this duel will be over on my next turn. Your dragon just may destroy Kali Yuga, but there's nothing it'll be able to do against my Doom King Armageddon". The silver-haired said with confidence in his voice, certain of his victory because there was no possible scenario he can think of for Yusei to turn this around.
Yusei grew a grin at Declan's words. "Are you sure about that?" Satellite's Shooting Star questioned his opponent, instantly wiping the grin off of Declan's face. "What was that?" LID's president questioned, wondering what he meant by that.
(Play What I'm Made Of - Sonic Heroes [OST])
"I...activate Shooting Star Dragon's special ability! Once per turn; Shooting Star Dragon allows me to check the top 5 cards of my deck and can attack for every Tuner Monster among them". Yusei explained the Accel Synchro Monster's special ability, turning his gaze over to his deck.
Hearing this filled the You Show gang with hope, surprise for Sora, anticipation for Kit and Julia, finally dread for Henrietta and Dipper. Declan himself was surprised at learning this.
'Shooting Star Dragon doesn't follow the normal range of attacks. He has a short possibility of drawing 3 tuners, much less 4. But even he cannot draw 5 tuners'. The silver-haired teenager thought to himself, teeth grit from feeling this intense pressure he's feeling.
Yusei brought his right hand up, then gazed at the single card in his card holder, Over Sword. 'In order for me to win this duel, I need to draw five tuner monsters or else Declan will win'. Yusei thought to himself, gazing forward and saw all four of Declan's monsters facing him and Shooting Star Dragon.
'Everyone... lead me your strength one more time'. Satellite's Shooting Star thought to himself, closing both eyes and reached out to his friends through the Crimson Dragon's mark.
(Back with the rest of Team 5D's)
Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo and Luna were still at the cemetery, gazing down at their marks because their connection to Yusei was still activate and waited. Just then, all their marks gleamed brighter than before and the Signers could feel their friend's cry for help once more. "Yusei is..." Luna began, before Leo finished for her. "He's calling for our help". The sixth Signer finished, growing a grin he hasn't used in the past 2 months.
"Take as much as you need! Take all our power!" Crow shouted out to the sky above to his old friend. Jack gripped his right hand into a fist, soul ignited like it was a flame itself. "Yusei! Show them the strength of our bonds!" Yusei's rival shouted out, eyes gleaming bright red for a mere second.
Akiza spent a moment staring at her mark, then up at the sky above. "No matter where we are or when, we're always connected to Yusei. And nothing will ever change that". She spoke with pure conviction in her voice because that's what she truly believes.
(Both world at the same time)
Yusei's mark of the Crimson Dragon began gleaming brightly, catching his attention. "...!" He gazed down at it for a moment, then narrowed both eyes and placed his right hand on the deck's top card. He drew in a dramatic fashion by throwing his right hand into the air, card between the index and middle fingers.
He turned the card over, and it was Stardust Synchron. "The first card! Tuner Monster Stardust Synchron!" Yusei revealed, the mark of the Crimson Dragon's tail appearing on his back. "...!" Crow let out a sharp gasp, feeling Yusei's presence upon connecting with him.
Yusei moved to draw the next card, keeping a hold of Stardust Synchron's card with the ring and middle fingers. He drew the next card exactly like he did before. "The second card!" He called out, turning it over with it revealing to be Junk Mail. "Tuner Monster Junk Mail!" Yusei revealed, both marks of the Crimson Dragon's claw and heart appearing on his back. Leo and Luna both widen their eyes at feeing themselves connect with Yusei once more.
Yusei held Junk Mail's card with Stardust Synchron's card and drew the third card in the same way. "The third card!" Satellite's Shooting Star stated, turning the card over with it revealing to be Assault Synchron. "Tuner Monster Assault Synchron!" Yusei cried out, the Crimson Dragon's wings appearing on his back now as well. Jack slightly widen both eyes at feeling him and Yusei connect as well and sensing Yusei's strong spirit.
Yusei drew the fourth card just like the past 3 times. "The fourth card!" He called out, turning the card over. "Tuner Monster Steam Synchron!" Satellite's Shooting Star revealed the fourth card, the Crimson Dragon's foot appearing as well. "Haa...!" Akiza breathed out in pure joy, a massive smile blooming on her face from feeling Yusei's warm presence once more.
Declan looked at Yusei over his left shoulder, his eyes slightly wide at how Yusei was accomplishing the impossible once more. "What in the world!" He exclaimed, starting to feel more pressured than before. "Just one more card! You can do it Yusei!" Yuya called out to his mentor, voice full of spirit and belief in the man that changed his life. "Yusei!" Lulu and Rin cried out, their hearts beating faster than ever before.
Everyone else watching were silent, only watched with wide eyes at Yusei. Henrietta watched with her teeth grit, eyes wide and a nervous trace of sweat dropping from the left side of her face.
Yusei grabbed the top card of his deck, yet didn't draw it just yet. He closed both eyes and focused on the feelings of Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo and Luna overflowing through him. He soon opened his eyes to reveal unmatched resolve within them. "And now the final draw that will settle this all!" Yusei shouted out, time seemingly going slow as he drew and threw his right hand into the air. Time resumed as the fifth card was revealed.
"The fifth card... Tuner Monster Wheel Synchron!" Yusei cried out to the heavens, his own mark appearing on his back. All six marks connected and formed the mark of the Crimson Dragon.
(Just in the Standard Dimension)
"IMPOSSIBLE! YOU DREW ALL 5 TUNER MONSTERS!?" Declan shouted out in pure shock that once again, Yusei accomplished the impossible. The LID members, Henrietta and Sora all gasped themselves, the You Show gang all smiled widely with amazement at Yusei's power.
Yusei swiped his right hand into the air and out. "Go! Shooting Star Dragon! Stardust Mirage!" Yusei cried out, Shooting Star Dragon flying higher into the air with its body gleaming until it split into 5 different coloured versions of itself all with the flaming auras. There was red, blue green, orange and yellow.
All five of them flew forward like a herd, heading straight for Declan's monsters. Declan grit his teeth, before throwing his right hand out. "Due to the effect of Dark Contract with the Grave, the first attack is negated!" Declan called out, the red Shooting Star Dragon breaking off from the others and heading straight for D/D/D Doom King Armageddon, only to ram into an invisible barrier.
But it quickly shattered with the red Shooting Star Dragon disappearing. "But now your only defense is gone! Shooting Star Dragon, attack D/D/D Doom King Armageddon!" Yusei commanded, throwing his right hand out. The yellow Shooting Star Dragon roared, taking off and flew straight into D/D/D Doom King Armageddon. The Fiend-Type Pendulum Monster exploded on impact with the yellow copy disappearing.
The shockwaves hit Declan's back, making him grunt since it hurt a little. "Your Doom King was Level 8! So you take 1600 points of damage from Stardust Mirage Bombardment's effect!" Yusei told the president of LID, Declan's Life Points going down.
Declan Life Points: 4700 - 1600 = 3100.
"Synchro Blast's effect now activates, dealing you another 500 points of damage!" Yusei called out, throwing his right hand out to the side. Synchro Blast's card reappeared and fired a bright yellow beam at Declan, landing another hit with the teenager groaning a bit.
Declan Life Points: 3100 - 500 = 2600.
"The third attack! Shooting Star Dragon, attack D/D/D Rebel King Leonidas!" Satellite's Shooting Star called out, throwing his right hand out to the side. The orange one flying forward, headed straight for Declan's other Pendulum Monster. D/D/D Rebel King Leonidas. The Fiend-Type Monster held up its shield to defend itself, but Shooting Star Dragon smashed right through it and destroyed Leonidas.
The shockwaves hit Declan once more, now making him flinch. "D/D/D Rebel King Leonidas was Level 7! So that's 1400 points this time!" Yusei calculated the damage, Declan's Life Points going down again.
Declan Life Points: 2600 - 1400 = 1200.
"Now Shooting Star Dragon, attack D/D Pandora!" Satellite's Shooting Star ordered the Accel Synchro Monster. The green Shooting Star Dragon took off towards Pandora and blast through it, shattering the Fiend-Type Monster on contact with the copy disappearing.
Declan was once again hit with shockwaves, this time gasping out air. "D/D Pandora is Level 5, 1000 points coming out of your Life Points!" Yusei calculated once more, pointing right at Declan with his right hand's index finger.
Declan Life Points: 1200 - 1000 = 200.
"And now the final attack! Shooting Star Dragon, attack D/D/D Duo-Dawn King Kali Yuga!" Yusei commanded one last time, throwing his right hand up into the air. The blue Shooting Star Dragon roared out, then took for Kali Yuga. Declan grit his teeth, but then spotted something up ahead. It was an Action card floating above the ground.
"An Action card!" LID's president called out, pressing the Duel Runner's accelerator. Declan's Duel Runner's speed increased and he soon reached the Action card. He grabbed it, took a look and smile "I activate the Action Spell Evasion!" Declan declared, holding up the Spell card before inserting it into his Duel Disk.
A large copy of the Action Spell appeared beside Declan's right side. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, Yusei beat him to it.
"I activate the Action Spell Over Sword!" Yusei cried out, holding up the Action Spell with his right hand before inserting it in. A copy of the Spell appeared in front of Yusei's Yusei Go and started gleaming. "This Action Spell not only increases Shooting Star Dragon's ATK Points by 500, but now its attack cannot be negated!" Yusei explained Over Sword's effect, Shooting Star Dragon's ATK increasing once he finished speaking.
Shooting Star Dragon ATK: 5100 + 500 = 5600.
The You Show gang all smiled brightly at seeing Shooting Star Dragon's new ATK Points. "5600 ATK Points!" Zuzu called out with a massive smile because this only meant one thing. "Yusei is..." Lulu began, before Yuya took over for her. "Gonna win!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist called out with a massive grin.
"Go, Shooting Star Dragon! Finish this with Stardust Mirage!" Yusei shouted out, throwing his right hand into the air. Shooting Star Dragon roared in response to its duelist's command, closing in on Declan's Xyz Monster. Kali Yuga unleashed two black lightning streams from its horns at Shooting Star Dragon, but they bounced off on impact.
The Accel Synchro Monster flew straight into Kali Yuga with the Fiend-Type Monster bursting into a massive explosion upon impact while Shooting Star Dragon flew away unscathed. The shockwaves hit Declan one last time with him crying out. But despite yelling at the top of his lungs, the young president of LID grew a smile because this duel had truly been enjoyable to him. (5600 - 5000 = 600)
Declan Life Points: 200 - 600 = 0.
Winner: Yusei!
(Music end)
Smoke immediately started coming out of Declan's Duel Runner, its monitor displaying a red X as a sign that he's lost. Both Declan and Yusei slowed down until the eventually stopped with a 10 feet distance. Multiple screens appeared, displaying images of Yusei with the words "Win" underneath, announcing him as the winner. The Arc System deactivated, and the field began bursting into yellow sparkles as it returned to normal.
Shooting Star Dragon ceased glowing blue with the flaming aura disappearing. The Accel Synchro Monster gazed down at its Duelist with Yusei gazing up at it. Shooting Star Dragon gaze a soft growl to its master, before bursting into yellow particles itself.
Yusei grew a smile at the disappeared Accel Synchro Monster, the Yusei Go suddenly gleaming yellow. Satellite's Shooting Star placed both feet on the ground and stood up from the Duel Runner, right before it burst into particles itself. He looked at his back over the left shoulder, exactly at the mark of the Crimson Dragon. It was losing its glow quickly, before it began to disappear.
Yusei kept his smile because despite the Crimson Dragon's mark disappearing, he's glad that his connection with Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo and Luna was still strong as ever. 'Everyone... Thanks for your help. I promise, I'll come back someday'. Satellite's Shooting Star thought to himself, turning his gaze over to his right forearm where his mark was. The mark gleamed red for a moment, and Yusei had no doubt that it was a sign that his thoughts were sent to the other Signers back home.
Yusei didn't know at the time, but his exact thoughts were indeed sent over to the other Signers through their marks.
(The other world)
Jack, Crow, Akiza, Leo and Luna were gazing down at their left forearms, sensing their connection with Yusei disappearing exactly when he's done dueling. Their marks all reappeared on their arms, but unexpecting they heard Yusei's voice inside of their minds. 'Everyone... Thanks for your help. I promise, I'll come back someday'. Those words rang in their heads, a sense of longing inside of them.
Jack and Crow both breathed out with wide smiles, before they began laughing without control. They threw their heads back and laughed at not just the air, but fate itself because Yusei had spat in its face once more by surviving the Divine Temple.
Leo and Luna turned to another one with wide smiles, before they both threw their arms out and hugged each other. "He's alive... Yusei's alive..." Leo uttered, feeling hope itself return to his heart. It was the exact same hope that transformed him into a Signer and restored Aporia's hope. Luna wordlessly nodded her head, feeling hope herself that one day Team 5D's will be complete again and they'll all be happy together again.
Akiza remained silent, staying on her knees and gazing down at the Crimson Dragon's foot mark with an overjoyed expression. She just felt so alive right now just from the knowledge that the man she loved was alive. Questions such as "Where is he?", "What has Yusei been doing?" or anything else was absent from her mind. Just knowing that he isn't dead was enough for Akiza right now.
The former Black Rose Witch turned her head right to another grave right next to Yusei's. This one was for their other friend that died in the Divine Temple, Bruno. Despite learning the truth of him being Vizor, he was still their friend and teammate, that's what mattered to them. And it was only right to give him a grave as well.
"Bruno... Yusei is alive. I don't know how it's possible, but he isn't dad. I don't know where he is or what he's doing right now, but I'm certain he'll come home. I know that I don't really have the right to say this after the past two months, but please let me. We'll save the future and make certain that what happened in your world won't happen". Akiza uttered, clapping both hands together in a prayer and bowed her head to Bruno's grave.
Once done, she gazed up to the sky. Akiza's very heart trembled in joy at thinking about reuniting with Yusei one day. Not only that, but all her fears of confessing her feelings to him were gone now. This whole experience opened Akiza's eyes and she didn't want to stay quiet anymore. 'Yusei... I'm not gonna hide it anymore. When I see you again, I'll tell you how I feel about you'. Akiza said inside of her mind, refusing to keep her feelings bottled up inside of herself anymore.
What the five didn't know at the time that 2 of them and an old friend of Yusei's would join him in the other world soon.
(Standard Dimension)
The Action Field had fully deactivated. Yusei and Declan were standing on solid ground, 10 feet away with their deactivated Duel Disks back on their left forearms. The young president of the Leo Institute was staring down at his Duel Disk, remembering the whole experience with the Duel Runner. Yusei was staring down at his right forearm, right at the Crimson Dragon's head mark.
Meanwhile with the viewers in the hall, almost all the You Show gang was crying out in joy for Yusei's victory. Sora wasn't because he was honestly shocked at how Yusei managed the impossible by defeating Declan when it seemed so certain that he was gonna win. "Way to go, Yusei!" Rin cried out in praise, throwing her right fist into the air with an amazed grin on her face.
"That...was truly INTENSE! Gong's never so amazed as now!" The Superheavy Samurai Duelist cried out, lifting both fists into the air. "It was so amazing!" Allie cried out, jumping up and down in a jolly manner. "I know, right?! I never thought a monster like Shooting Star Dragon existed! It was awesome!" Tate shouted out, pure amazement etched onto his face from witnessing Yusei's Accel Synchro Monster in action. "It was like a real shooting star!" Frederick commented, shaking his body in his usual excited way.
Zuzu was just as amazed, but was doing better keeping it under control. Suddenly filled with curiosity, the pink-haired female turned to look at Serenity only to sweat drop at what she saw. The 16-year-old girl had both hands clapped together and was staring at Yusei with an anime lovestruck face on her face, heart-shaped eyes and anime love hearts all around her head.
All of a sudden; Yusei shuddered upon feeling an extremely uncomfortable feeling hitting him out of nowhere.
Yuya stared at his mentor as if he were a living legend right now, mind replaying the Accel Synchro and Shooting Star Dragon. "Accel Synchro... So awesome! I just gotta learn how to do that myself! Me and my Star-Eyes Savior Dragon could pull it off!" The Odd-Eyes Duelist said with an excited voice, holding up his gripped right fist as a sign of how eager he was to learn Accel Synchro.
Lulu giggled a little at her "boyfriend", fully aware that Accel Synchro wasn't gonna be anyway easy for him to learn like it was with normal Synchro Summoning. Yuya would first need a Duel Runner of his own, go faster than the speed of light, a Synchro Tuner Monster, an Accel Synchro Monster and learn how to do Clear Mind himself. All of those conditions were impossible for Yuya right now, but Lulu just didn't have the strength within her to crush his hopes of learning Accel Synchro. So, she kept quiet for now and let him dream big.
With the LID group; Kit had anime stars in his eyes as he stared at Yusei. Utterly amazed at seeing the evolution of Synchro Summoning, Accel Synchro and wondered what it would take for him to learn it himself. As for Julia, she was looking down in thought at all she had witnessed in this duel such as Yusei's Fusion Summon, the Assault Mode and Accel Synchro, but most of her thoughts lingered on the Fusion Monster Yusei Summoned.
Dipper had wide eyes and teeth grit at Yusei's victory over his school's president. Despite everything that's happened and seeing the skills of everyone else, Dipper's pride was getting in the way of him admitting they were truly skilled and he knew it. He knew he's on thin ice and needed to change, but Dipper's darn pride just wouldn't admit it.
Finally Henrietta; the Chairwoman of the Leo Institute had a stun face at seeing her son defeated. To her it was impossible not just with Declan's skills, but because of the situation Yusei was in at the start of his last turn. She herself couldn't think of a possible scenario of Yusei overcoming Declan, but he did the impossible and broke through the boundaries of possibility.
She lost her stun expression and replaced it with a deep frown. 'Yusei Fudo... You truly are a powerful man. I'm starting to even doubt you're even human. If you're an enemy of ours, then I don't how strong you are, you will fall. But if we have you as an ally, then we'll be much closer to our goal of stopping Leo Akaba. Not to mention...' Henrietta thought, eyes displaying a rather hungry look inside of them.
'Accel Synchro... I thought it was just Xyz Summoning with an evolution, but this is truly something else. That Synchro Summoning confirms my suspicions of Yusei being a resident of the Synchro Dimension. After all only someone from there could use the next stage of Synchro Summoning'. Henrietta said inside of her mind, certain that this man was a resident of the Synchro Dimension. She had no clue that she's dead wrong on that.
The two duelists finally turned to look at one another and Declan spoke first. "Yusei Fudo... You were truly magnificent". The silver-haired teenager stated, speaking truthfully because he was really amazed with Satellite's Shooting Star. "Thank you for the compliment, Declan Akaba". Yusei replied to Declan, satisfied with the duel because he enjoyed himself and got to use Accel Synchro again.
Declan chuckled a little at Yusei, before that expression fell and was replaced with a serious frown. "Now, did our duel help you get the answer that you wanted?" LID's president questioned Satellite's Shooting Star, which Yusei gave a nod.
"It did. I learned what I needed". The young adult answered, actually learning more than what he bargained for. He learned what kind of person Declan is, but it was a bit surprising to learn he knows Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and even Pendulum. Still, Yusei's main purpose for dueling Declan has been fulfilled.
Declan gave a nod of approval at Yusei's answer. "That's great to hear. Now, have you decided on what your prize for our bet will be?" The silver-haired teenager questioned Yusei, taking him by surprise a little. He shook his head in response to Declan's question.
"No, I still don't know what I want for that. For now, I just want to have that private discussion with you". Satellite's Shooting Star told the younger male, a bit eager to begin their talk and tell Declan the truth about his family and Ray. He felt that for this alliance to work, then the truth needed to be revealed.
Declan raised an eyebrow at Yusei, yet still gave a nod. He was very curious as to why Yusei desired to speak with him in private, but he kept his guard up for now because it still wasn't settled if he's an ally or enemy. But maybe with this talk he'll finally learn if he's friend or foe. "Very well then. Shall we-" Declan began, only to stop when Henrietta suddenly cried out.
"What did you say!?" The Chairwoman called out, capturing the attention of not just Yusei and Declan, but the You Show gang as well. They all looked over and saw Claude standing beside Henrietta, whispering something to her. They couldn't hear what Declan's right-hand man was saying, but Dipper, Kit and Julia could. "Professor Marco was-!?" The Fusion Duelist exclaimed, sounding distress and horrified at what she just heard. Even Kit and Dipper grew wide eyes at what they heard.
Henrietta paid her school's best Fusion user no mind and looked at her son with a face full of panic. "We have to tell Declan!" LID's Chairwoman stated, something that Claude agreed with completely. He brought out a holographic chart and connected to his boss through it.
Declan brought up his left arm just as a screen appeared above the Duel Disk, displaying Claude's stern face. "What happened, Claude?" Declan questioned his right-hand man, voice calm and no hint of panic or worry on his face. "I'm afraid we have an emergency on our hands, Mister President". The adult man informed his boss, resulting in Declan narrowing his eyes in a deadly serious way.
The screen disappeared and Declan turned to look at Yusei. "My apologies Yusei Fudo, but I need to leave right away". LID's young president told the older male, Yusei gave a nod in response because he could tell it was important. "I understand. Then if it isn't too much trouble, can we have that discussion tomorrow at the Leo Insitute?" The almost 20-year-old male asked Declan, certain that they can postpone the talk until tomorrow and everything had settled down.
"Of course. I look forward to tomorrow where we can finally talk, Yusei Fudo". Declan bid farewell to Satellite's Shooting Star, before heading out of the Action Field. Soon he, Henrietta, Dipper, Julia, Kit and Claude all left the You Show School.
Seeing no reason to stay in the Action Field; Yusei walked out the door and entered the hallway. "Yusei!" Multiple voices cried out to the young adult, catching his attention. He looked to his left and saw the whole You Show gang running up to him with the kids in the lead. Allie, Tate and Frederick all stopped in front of the Synchro Duelist and gazed up at him in pure awe.
"Yusei, that was so amazing!" The red-haired girl cried out, holding both hands up to her chin in an excited way. "Yeah, it was!" Frederick called out in agreement, lightly shaking his body in a joyful way. "Why didn't you tell us about that Accel Synchro?" Tate asked with an excited voice, everyone else gathering around them and stared at Yusei with eager expressions.
Yusei grinned a little at the looks on their faces. "Even if I did tell you guys, would you have believed me without seeing it?" Satellite's Shooting Star questioned them all, yet that did nothing to quell their excitement. "So? You just needed to show us! All of us would have believed it after we saw Shooting Star Dragon!" Zuzu called out, but at those words Lulu and Rin nervously laughed. Unlike their friends, they knew about Shooting Star Dragon and Accel Synchro. This was just their first time seeing it and they were beyond happy to finally see it.
Just then, Skip came running into the hallway. He had been watching the whole duel from the control room and had witnessed Yusei's Accel Synchro. He was utterly amazed with it and came up with the idea of adding it to their Synchro course to increase their reputation by teaching the students how to Accel Synchro themselves.
He came right up to the gathered group around Yusei with the Synchro Duelist turning to look at him. "Yusei! That Synchro Summoning was beyond amazing! Where did you learn something so amazing?!" Skip questioned Satellite's Shooting Star, his excitement leaking out of the voice as a sign just how big it was.
(Play Naruto Shippuden Peaceful music)
At Skip's question, Yusei's grin turned into a sad smile. He looked down at his Duel Disk and drew the top card with the right hand. He turned it over, revealing it to be Shooting Star Dragon, and stared at it with memories of a good friend overflowing his mind. "I learned it thanks to a good friend... who gave up his life to save mine". Yusei answered with sadness, mind flashing back to their last moments together and his request to save Z-one.
Immediately, the happy atmosphere was gone as almost everyone gasped at Yusei's words. Rin and Lulu were the only exceptions because they knew exactly who Yusei was talking about and that man's sacrifice for his friend. They watched their "adopted father" with sad eyes, unable to really relate because they haven't experienced the pain of losing a friend forever.
"Yusei, I... I'm so sorry". Skip apologized, bowing his head low in guilt for being so caught up in his excitement and was careless. Yusei tilted his head up to Skip and slightly shook it. "It's okay. There's no way you could have known". Satellite's Shooting Star replied to his friend, no hint of anger on his face, eyes or in his voice. He just kept on smiling sadly.
Skip grew a small smile at Yusei's words, but still felt a bit of guilt. "Yusei, what was your friend's name?" Gong asked the Synchro Duelist in hopes of changing this sad atmosphere back into a happy one. Yuya turned to his best friend for a moment, then looked at Yusei just as he spoke. "Bruno... His name was Bruno, a friend that I owe so much to and will never forget". The Synchro Duelist answered, mind flashing back to all the happy moments he had with Bruno and the others of Team 5D's.
Everyone smiled a little, the atmosphere growing a bit softer than before. "He's the one that introduced me to Accel Synchro when we dueled for the first time. He was different from the many other opponents that I faced. He even helped me in ways that wasn't just in dueling". Yusei added, more memories of his time with Bruno coming up in his mind like when they worked on the Duel Runner program.
"Sounds like a great guy. I would have liked to duel him". Sora said with a fascinated grin, wondering what kind of guy Bruno is and how strong his deck is. Rin sent a glare at the Fusion Duelist for what he said, but Yusei just ignored him. "How did you meet this guy anyway?" Yuya asked his mentor with a curious voice, wondering Yusei and Bruno met at a park or at a school.
Yusei gave a chuckle upon remembering how he met Bruno because it was a bit funny. "It all happened on a random day. He was found homeless by the police and some friends of mine asked us to look after him. He set up a meeting, but Bruno didn't show up to it because he got distracted by something. When we did find him, an old friend of mine thought he was robbing him and gave him a right cross to the face". Satellite's Shooting Star spoke, remembering that day perfectly like it was yesterday.
At Yusei's words; Yuya, Gong, Sora, Skip, Tate, Frederick and Sora all winced at the thought of that. Lulu and Rin giggled nervously because they saw someone doing that to someone else. For Lulu, it was Shay that did it to a random guy that tried to hit on her. And for Rin, Yugo did it to some random guy that he got into a fist fight with.
"He took off but came back and even "kidnapped" Bruno because he actually upgraded his ride. We took him back to where we were all staying, and that's where Bruno and I bonded through our love of mechanics. We even spend 3 whole days without sleep on a single program". Yusei told them all, much to Skip's fascination at hearing how Bruno could keep up with Yusei in technical work.
"Sounds like he was one heck of a guy. To help you with mechanics and teach you Synchro's advance stage". The You Show School principal said with admiration in his voice, honestly wishing he could have met Bruno himself. Yusei gave a small chuckle for two different reasons. One was that Accel Synchro was just the next step and there was two more steps after it. And the second reason was that there was another stage of Synchro besides Accel Synchro.
"Hey, Yusei?" Yuya suddenly spoke up, capturing the young adult's attention. Yusei turned to look at his student and saw Yuya's eager expression. "Do you think you can teach me how to do Accel Synchro myself?" The Odd-Eyes Duelist asked Yusei, slightly bringing up his right fist.
Yusei gave a small grin at the teenage boy. "That isn't gonna be easy to learn, Yuya. For one thing, you're gonna need a Duel Runner". Satellite's Shooting Star told Yuya, much to his surprise at hearing this. "Huh?" Yuya tilted his head slightly in confusion, no clue what Yusei was talking about. He wasn't the only one confused, so were the others with Lulu and Rin the only exceptions since they knew what he's talking about.
(Music end/ Later on at Yusei's house)
It took a bit of time explaining, but Yusei managed to successfully tell Yuya and the others the requirements to Accel Synchro. And let's just say they were honestly a bit intimidated to learn they needed a Duel Disk motorcycle and go as fast as possible. And since he wasn't old enough to drive a car, much less a motorcycle just yet, Yuya decided to put the idea of learning Accel Synchro away for now.
With that matter solved, the whole gang celebrated their school's victory over LID. Allie, Tate and Frederick immediately took to the Action duel field to start practicing their skills with Serenity supervising them. Gong left to head home and start his own training as well. Sora disappeared to who knows where. Yuya, Zuzu, Lulu and Rin all left to spend some time together and talk about what they're gonna do in the future. And Skip had some work to do.
As for Yusei; he left to head straight home. After a day like this, he needed to start making preparations for a good few things like the talk with Declan tomorrow, make plans to find Yuto in Paradise City and taking everyone else's training up a notch for a good few examples. But for now, though, there was something he wanted to personally do.
Right now; he's in the living room connected to the kitchen, sitting down on a chair around the round table, currently writing on a large piece of paper with a rosy red deck box right beside it. There were four folded up pieces of paper wrapped around other deck boxes, covering them completely all around the table with the one he's working on right now being the last one.
These five pieces of paper and deck boxes were both messages and gifts for his friends back home.
He came up with the idea after how he was able to call for their help earlier in his duel against Declan. He doesn't know the situation back home, but he's certain they know he's alive now. That's why he wants to send them a message to tell them his honest thoughts. As for the deck boxes, they were filled with cards he searched and picked for all of them to add to their decks. Yusei's certain they'll all love their cards.
He just finished writing the last letter, the one for Akiza. He put the pen down on the table, before picking up the rosy red deck box and placed it down in the middle of the latter. He then folded it completely around the deck box without trouble. Once done, Yusei placed it down right in front of him, then moved all the other wrapped up deck boxes in a line.
Yusei looked at all the deck boxes one at a time, before giving a sad smile. He honestly wished that he can go back home right now instead of just sending letters to them. But Yusei couldn't because there was still much left to do here in the Standard Dimension. He'll go back once things were more under control, but this wasn't that time.
Satellite's Shooting Star gave a nod of approval, before looking down at his right forearm, directly at the mark of the Crimson Dragon. Yusei closed both eyes and placed his left forearm over the mark, focusing deeply. 'Crimson Dagon, I only ask for this one favor. Please send these letters and cards to my friends back home'. The Synchro Duelist said mentally, praying to the legendary dragon to grant his request. This was the only favor he intended to ask and never again ask.
The Crimson Dragon's head mark suddenly began glowing, much to Yusei's delight upon feeling that familiar presence enter his mind. 'This request of yours is one I'm more than happy to permit. Place your hands over them and I shall send them to your friends'. The mighty god instructed his Signer. Yusei opened both eyes and nodded in understanding.
Yusei brought up his right hand and slowly began to reach down for one of the wrapped up deck boxes.
(In Yusei's world)
The sky was a beautiful orange sky above New Domino City, as if it was a symbol that a certain team's sad lives had changed back to happy ones.
At the Poppo Time building's back garage, Jack and Crow sat across one another on a poorly built table. This was the same table that Jack made himself a few months ago to enjoy tea without going to the cafe. He rebuilt it himself not to long after the Divine Temple incident to have tea again without visiting the cafe in some vein effort to comfort himself.
Right now the two Signers were talking about their discovery of Yusei being alive. "I don't get it, man! If Yusei did survive that whole temple thing, then where the hell he's been all this time?! And why didn't he tell us before leaving in the first place!" Crow questioned the blond-haired man across him, both hands placed firmly down on the table.
"Oh, sure! Ask me like I know!" Jack shot back at his old friend, giving a shrug of the shoulders. "I'm trying to vent here, cut me some slack! At the beginning of the day I thought our best friend was dead, but it turns out he's alive actually! I need to get it out of my system!" Crow snapped at the former "king" of New Domino City, although neither of the two didn't really sound that serious.
The two Signers spent the next few moments staring at one another with narrowed eyes, but eventually the two broke into grins and started laughing happily. To it, it was almost like the past 2 months of depression had never happened and they're back to how they used to be. And it was a change both Signers were more than happy to accept since it beat being sad all the time.
"Aww man, I've missed moments like these. I used to get so annoyed back then, but now I'm just happy we can talk like this again". Crow said with a happy grin, leaning back against his seat with both hands folded behind the head. "I'd have to agree with you on that. I just wish that we had some coffee here to drink as well". Jack said with a grin, much to Crow's comical annoyance at the word "coffee".
"For the last time, we CAN'T afford coffee!" The Blackwing Duelist exclaimed with comically white angry eyes, resulting in Jack bursting out laughing at the sight. Crow himself lost his comically annoyed and started laughing himself, not the least bit really made just happy.
All of a sudden, both of their marks started glowing brightly, catching the attention of Jack and Crow. "Our marks!" Jack called out in surprise, bringing up his left arm and gazed straight at the Crimson Dragon's mark. Crow did the same, both wondering what was going on and worried that Yusei was in trouble.
The marks' glowing intensified so much that both Jack and Crow were forced to shut their eyes for a couple of seconds. Once the light died down enough, they opened their eyes and blinked in surprise. Right in front of them placed down on the table were two wrapped up unknown items in the shapes of deck boxes. Even their marks were no longer glowing brightly.
"What... the heck?" Crow said in confusion, taking hold of the wrapped-up deck box with his right hand and brought it up to his face. He blinked upon seeing his name right at the center, almost like it was a letter. Like his friend, Jack had picked up the deck box and stared at it in his right hand for a few moments until he placed it down on the table.
He began unwrapping the pepper around the deck box, an action that Crow quickly noticed and copied. They fully unwrapped the letters, revealing the deck boxes inside were different colours from one another. Jack's was a crimson red one while Crow had a pitch black one. But their main focus wasn't on the deck boxes right now, it was instead the letters they were holding as they could see writing on it.
"These letters... They're messages from Yusei!" Crow cried out with wide eyes, turning to look at Jack with the blond-haired man doing the same. Both young adults turned back to their messages and began reading them.
"Dear Jack; it's been a while. Listen, I'm sorry for just disappearing like that at the Divine Temple, but I have a good reason. The Crimson Dragon told me about this other world that has Duel Monsters like ours, but is different. There's a great evil that's threatening to destroy it and the people living their lives there. I wish that I could tell you all the details right now, but I think it's better to do it in person. I still have every intention of coming back home some day and keep Z-one's future from becoming our reality, but this world needs my help right now.
When I come back someday, I'll take whatever punishment you want to dish out at me. I honestly deserve it for just leaving without saying anything. All I ask is for you and the others to wait. I even got you something, the deck box is full of cards that will work in unimaginable ways for your deck. There's even a few "Red Dragon Archfiend" cards in it, so I'm certain you love them. Train hard with these new cards and get stronger because I'm growing stronger myself. Show me just how hot your Burning Soul is by the time we meet again. From your old friend and rival, Yusei Fudo". Jack read the letter with a low voice, feeling his very spirit burn with passion with every word he read.
"Dear Crow, hey there man. I'm really sorry for just up and leaving without saying goodbye, but there's a good reason why I had to go straight away. I learned about this other world from the Crimson Dragon, one that has Duel Monsters like ours, but there's a few things different from our world. Something evil is threatening this world and I was called by the Crimson Dragon to stop it. I can't tell you all the details in a letter because I want to do it in person, sorry if that's selfish of me. I may have left our world, but I haven't abandoned it, I'll come home someday.
You can do whatever you want to make me pay for whatever pain you've gone through these last 2 months, I'll take it all. But for now, look through the deck box I sent to you. It's full of new cards that I'm positive that you'll love what's inside. Master these new cards and show those kids how awesome you can be. I got new cards myself and got stronger, so I'm certain you'll get stronger with these cards as well. Once I come back home, let's have a duel for old times' sake. From your old friend, Yusei Fudo". Crow finished reading his own letter, growing a big once half way through because he's beginning to feel excited.
Crow and Jack turned their gazes to the deck boxes in their right hands. They placed the letters down and opened their deck boxes with the left hand. Jack and Crow took out the top five cards and held them up with their left hands. Both Signers gasped in awe upon seeing the first five because they were amazing cards that fit their deck perfectly.
The five cards that Crow drew were Blackwing - Boreastorm the Wicked Wind, Blackwing - Twin Shadow, Blackwing - Chinook the Snow Blast, Black Feather Whirlwind and most surprising of all; Blackfeather Darkrage Dragon. As for Jack himself, he's got Scarred Dragon Archfiend, Crimson Gaia, Red Reign, Crimson Resonator and Bone Archfiend.
Yusei's presumptions were proven correct as both Jack and Crow were amazed with the new cards.
"Holy hell! I didn't know that Blackwing cards like these existed! There's even a Black-Winged Dragon card, well Blackfeather but that doesn't really matter!" Crow laughed out with a massive smile, putting the five cards back into the deck box and took out the whole deck. He placed the empty item down on the table and began looking through all the cards.
He let out a full spirit laugh upon seeing there were more incredible Blackwing cards in them, Yusei was right about him loving this stuff. "Oh man! I've got some serious work to do to get the hang of these cards!" The Blackwing Duelist exclaimed with an eager voice, before looking over to Jack and saw him holding a spread-out deck with both hands, his own deck box on the table.
"What about you Jack? What about the cards you get?" Crow asked his old friend, yet Jack didn't give an answer. He was staring down at the cards in his hand, eyes covered by his bangs' shadows with an expressionless look. "Jack?" The Blackwing duelist said with a confuse face, wondering what's up with his old friend.
Jack still didn't give a reply to Crow, instead he brought the cards he's holding back into a deck. He picked up the deck box from the table, opened it and placed the deck inside of it. He closed the deck box before dropping both hands. "Crow..." He spoke, slowly lifting his right fist up with the Blackwing duelist watching him closely.
New Domino City's former champion held his right fist into the air, then in an unexpected move brought it down and slammed it on the table hard. The poorly made table immediately broke apart into pieces like before and Crow screamed out in shock at his old friend's actions. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" The Blackwing duelist shouted at Jack, but that went ignored as the Red Dragon Duelist brought up his right fist.
The shadows covering his eyes had disappeared, revealing a determined look. He even grew an eager smirk as if he was excited about something. "We're training none stop until we fully master our new cards! We've wasted time these last two months and now it's time we pick up the slack!" The blond-haired adult roared out, flames somehow surrounding him as he held up his right fist.
Crow blinked at Jack in surprise at his words. He opened his mouth to speak up only to stop himself upon realizing something. These past two months that he and everyone else spent mourning for Yusei, was in reality disrespecting him. It was okay to mourn for him, but giving up completely like they did was disrespecting Yusei because he'd want them to keep chasing their dreams. Instead, they did the opposite from depression.
Crow grit his teeth, starting to feel disappointment with himself. 'Yusei, I'm sorry man. I swear I'm gonna make up for the past 2 months! I swear it!' Crow shouted out inside of his mind, bringing up his deck box to stare at it for a few moments.
He looked at Jack and nodded. "Alright, bring it on!" The Blackwing Duelist exclaimed, much to Jack's delight at hearing that.
"That's what I like to hear!" The blond-haired adult stated, both of them gazing over to their Duel Runners at the corner. The sad times for these two were over and now, it was time for intense training to make up for the last 2 months.
(At Leo and Luna's house)
Meanwhile with the two twins, they're back in their high-class sky scrapper home, reeling over the discovery as well.
Currently, they're sitting around the table in the living room, Luna on the couch and Leo on their chair. The male twin had a wide grin on his face, holding up both hands in an excited way.
"This has gotta be like the best day ever! Yusei's alive and kicking butt wherever he is!" The sixth Signer called out with an overjoyed voice, earning a happy giggle from Luna since she's very happy to see him like his old self again. It used to be a bit annoying to her before, but now it was something she embraced warmly with open arms. And they had their marks to thank for this.
"I agree with you on that, but there's still a few questions unanswered. Like where has he been and what is he doing right now? And why didn't he tell us that he was still alive?" Luna told her brother, gazing down at her right forearm where the Crimson Dragon's mark is. She desperately wanted to know why the man that felt like a father to her disappeared without saying anything to her and the others.
"Aww come on, Luna! I'm sure that Yusei has a-" Leo began, only to immediately come to a halt when both his and Luna's marks suddenly came to light and started glowing brightly. "Huh?" The sixth Signer gasped in surprise, both him and Luna gazing down at their marks with wide eyes. "Hey, what's the big idea?!" Leo called out with wide eyes, right before both he and Luna were forced to shut their eyes from the intense glow.
Thankfully after a moment or two, it quickly died down and allowed the twins to open their eyes. They then blinked up seeing their own wrapped up deck boxes in front of them on the table, but they had no idea what they were just yet. "Where... did these come from?" Luna questioned, picking up her wrapped-up gift with both hands and brought it to her lap.
Leo, on the other hand, immediately unwrapped the paper around the deck box, revealing it to be a yellow one. But his main focus was still on the piece of paper in his hand. Leo unfolded and held it with both hands, then gasped at what he saw. "Luna! They're messages from Yusei!" The male twin told his sister, turning to look at her with wide eyes.
Luna gasped at her brother, looking at him for a moment before proceeding to unwrap her deck box with it being revealed as a light green coloured one. She unfolded the letter completely and took it into both her hands, while Leo turned to look at his one. Both siblings began reading Yusei's letter quickly.
"Dear Leo, it's been a while. Listen I'm... sorry. I'm so sorry about leaving you and everyone else without saying goodbye or anything. I have no idea what you've all been through these last two months, thinking that I died at the Divine Temple. I'll find some way to make it up to you guys, I swear it. As for why I left, I can't explain it fully in just a letter, but I can tell you this; the Crimson Dragon told me about this other world that has Duel Monsters like us and how there is an evil threatening to destroy it. I left to go to that world and fight against this evil.
I don't know how long it'll take, but I'll come home once it's all finished. At the least, I got a gift for you; new cards for your deck. The Crimson Dragon gave me new cards, so I looked for some for you and everyone else. I'm confident to say these cards are gonna help you BIG time. Work hard with them, show your school how amazing you are and stay strong. I look forward to seeing how much you've grown next time we meet. From your friend and fellow Signer, Yusei". Leo read his letter, tears of joy leaking out of his eyes and falling on the letter.
"Dear Luna, I'm... I want to say sorry for leaving, but I know that isn't good enough for you. Still, I have to say even if it isn't good enough. You can say whatever you want about me, call me a coward if you want, you have the right with how I just disappeared for 2 months. This gift I got you may be small in comparison, but please accept it. These cards are ones I thought and searched hard for you, it was a bit tricky.
Why I left, there's a really good reason. The Crimson Dragon told me about this other world that has Duel Monsters like ours, and there's a evil threatening it. I haven't told the others this, but this threat is because of four duel spirits and their duelist, and the horrible greed of humans. I'll tell you everything when I see you again, but something tells me you're gonna wish you never learned about it once I tell you everything. One last time; I'm sorry for everything that's happened these past 2 months, Luna. I miss you and everyone else. From your friend, Yusei". Luna read the letter with a small smile of acceptance, placing her right hand over Yusei's name and gently stroke it like it was a cat.
'Yusei... I admit that I'm a bit mad at you for just leaving like that, but I'm not upset. I'll listen to what you have to say when we reunite someday'. Luna thought to herself, certain that New Domino City's hero had a good reason for just leaving like that. "Oh wow!" Leo suddenly cried out, catching Luna by surprise. She turned to look at her brother and saw Leo holding a deck of cards with his right hand and give cards with the left hand.
The sixth Signer was staring at the five cards with a wide smile. The cards were Morphtronic Telefon, Morphtronic Converter, Morphtronic Earfon, Infinite Impermanence and Power Tool Mecha Dragon. Five cards that'll truly work wonders with his deck.
"Oh man, these cards are awesome! With them, I'm finally gonna beat that jerk Sly!" Leo called out with an excited voice, putting the five cards back in the deck box and brought out the whole deck.
Luna's smile grew at Leo's words, then turned her gaze down to the deck box on she placed on her lap. She put the letter down on the table, picked up the deck box with both hands and picked up the front card.
She let out a gasp at seeing it was a Synchro Monster called "Ancient Pixie Dragon", a different form of Ancient Fairy Dragon. 'Wow... Just the first card itself is amazing. I wonder what else is there'. Luna thought to herself, turning over to Leo and saw him looking through the whole deck now.
The two twins had a lot of work to do, not just with their cards but with school work to make up for the last 2 months.
(With Akiza/ Play Naruto Shippuden Always Watching)
With Akiza, she had returned home straight after the Signers split up. Akiza's parents were taken by surprise by surprise at the sight of their daughter's overjoyed face, but after Akiza told them why, they understood completely. Akiza's mother and father owed so much to Yusei for all he's done for their family, so to hear he's alive delighted them greatly.
Not to mention that they knew full well about Akiza's feelings for the young man and supported her fully. They even used to talk about Akiza's future life with Yusei with the mother teasing Akiza about it, much to her embarrassment.
Getting a bit off topic, the family decided to celebrate the miracle of Yusei's survival of the Divine Temple with a big dinner. While her parents were getting everything ready, Akiza went to her room to do some studying and make up for the last 2 months ago.
Right now; the Rose Duelist was sitting down in front of her desk, writing down on her notebook with a soft smile on her face. Unlike the other Signers that were wondering what Yusei's been doing or where he's been, Akiza was just happy with the knowledge that he's alive. 'Yusei... I'm so relieved that you're still alive'. Akiza thought to herself, gazing down at her right forearm where the Crimson Dragon mark was.
Just then, the mark began glowing a bright red colour, taking Akiza by surprise a little. "My mark?" She questioned, then hissed a little once the glowing grew so bright that she had to force her eyes shut. Thankfully it lasted only for a couple of seconds until it died down and allowed Akiza to open her eyes. The former Black Rose Witch blinked upon seeing her own wrapped up deck box in front of her atop the notebook.
"Where... did this come from?" Akiza questioned, turning to look at her mark only to see that it wasn't glowing anymore. She turned back to the deck box, before she began unwrapping it.
She then unfolded the letter fully and looked, only to gasp at seeing it was a message from Yusei to her. "This is... from Yusei...!" She slowly uttered to herself, hands slightly shaking. She didn't waste time and began reading.
"Dear Akiza... I really can't think of the right words to say to you about why I left 2 months ago. Instead, I'll just tell you why. The Crimson Dragon showed me this world, a different one from ours yet similar because it has Duel Monsters as well. A monster just like the King of the Nether World is threatening to destroy it, so the Crimson Dragon sent me to stop it. I'd like to tell you all the details, but there's honestly not enough room on the piece of paper.
The deck box with the letter, it's a gift I made for you and the others. They're all filled with cards that I'm sure you'll like, there's even a few Rose Dragon cards as well. I'm positive that you'll make great use of them, you're one of the best duelists I ever faced after all. Getting a bit off topic, sorry about that. Anyway, I don't know how long I'll be away for since I'm not even halfway close to defeating this new evil yet. But I'll come straight home once I'm done, so please be patient just a little longer. I miss home so much, you and the others even more". Akiza read, stopping herself and smiled fondly at the line she just read, cheeks turning a bit red because of how Yusei wrote he missed her.
She went on to read the last bit and received a bit of a surprise. "When I get back, will... will you go on a date with me? Not like that time I took you skating to help with your Duel Runner, but a real date. I'll wait for your answer when we meet again and... I'm sorry for taking so long to ask this. I'll see you again one day and until then, you'll always be in my thoughts Akiza. From your friend, teammate and future date, Yusei". The former Black Rose Witch finished reading Yusei's letter and her mind came to a full halt.
Akiza's face was completely blank as she stared at the letter's lower half for a good half a minute. Eventually her mind caught up with what she just read and Akiza's face turned comically bright red with wide white eyes at the size of bowling bowls. She quickly placed both hands over her mouth just as she began squealing in pure delight that the man she loved was finally making a move on her.
Akiza's imagination also went crazy since she started fantasizing herself and Yusei going on a date starting with them walking down the road, holding hands together. Different images came to mind, each one making her face turn redder until her whole face was a bright red. Akiza suddenly shot up from her chair, ran over to her bed and fell onto it with her face right into a pillow where she released a muffled squeal of delight.
All of Akiza's patience will pay off very soon.
(Music end/ Back with Yusei)
Yusei let out a small sigh as he leaned against the chair, looking up at the celling above him. He had just finished sending the letters to his friends and now, he was free to do whatever he wished. Today was a bit tiring and Yusei had nothing special left to do.
A stray thought entered Yusei's mind. 'That's right. Rin's Duel Runner is almost finished. I guess that I could finish it up for her to pass the time and maybe even think of something good to do once I'm done'. Satellite's Shooting Star thought to himself, giving a small grin at the thought. He gazed over to his right forearm where his arm was and placed the left hand over it.
'Guys... We'll be together again someday, just please wait. I swear it to the Crimson Dragon'. Satellite's Shooting Star thought to himself, closing both eyes for a moment before opening them again. He stood up from his seat and started heading for the garage to do what he loves best, working on mechanics.
The next day may not be as intense as this one, but a new alliance will be formed.
