"Wasn't he in the custody of the General council?"

She asked while following Richard's line of sight.

With the days brightness that brilliant sho e and illuminated the whole room, she could properly see his features and as it seemed, there was nothing worrying him.

The former queen of Eaghslia had been killed in the palace' grounds and that was supposed to be a major concern for him but the look on his face told otherwise.

Seeing his silence, she parted her lips ready to repeat her question but Richard bit her to it.

"Unfortunately, I am not as compassionate as you my sweet Lilith. I was not going to let what he did slip away just like that."

His words were casual with no hint of guilt in his face and Lilith could only purse her lips.
