Lilith together with Aldric and Wilson did not get to the palace until it was time of midmorning. The scorching sun that indicated summer was to come had showed up with full dominance.

When their carriage came to stand in front of the palace' high gates, a guard came to meet them and when he noticed that Lilith was inside, he opened the gates.

From afar, where they stood, the palace seemed to be peaceful and calm but when they got inside, things were complete opposite.

It seemed like a fight had broken in the drawing room whereby Ophelia was standing on her two feet but the former queen of Eaghslia was on the floor whereby blood was spilling from her chest.

Seeing another dead person when she had least expected, she gasped and her body became weak as she was yet to get used to seeing dead bodies.
