Chapitre 103: final goodbye

In the veil of darkness that had surrounded the lands, Richard took a path that was leading him out of the gates but his footsteps halted and he turned around to meet a silhouette of a man and when that person came into view, the face of his brother was revealed.

Edward's usual playful smug that had been present all day long was now gone and his seriousness matched the night itself.

"Do you have a life of your own?" Richard who was already tired of having to deal with his brother shot the question.

Taking steps to reduce the distance between them, Edward came to stand in front of his brother. In terms of height, the two young men possessed similar height.

"As it turns out, I don't." Edward replied and then added,

"Which is why I will be taking a long, long nap. Probably when I wake up, I will find something that will amuse me."

"So, you are here to say your goodbyes. I don't really think it was necessary though."
