Chapitre 37: in search for a clue

At the time of the night when she was sure that everyone had already slept, princess Lilith got out of the bed and slowly unlocked the door. Fortunately for her, there were no guards around and she stealthily walked through the cold corridors. She had successfully snuck out of the palaçe before and she hoped that today's task would not be hard at all.

Her eyes kept on scanning the area so that she could not be caught. Her movements were swift until she saw someone approaching and she quickly hid behind one of the pillars.

She had decided not to involve Mandy in all these knowing that her maid would get into more trouble than her.

When the guard took another turn that led to the garden, Lilith started her movements again but this time she was much quicker. The narrow path that led to the underground dungeons seemed to be deserted as the only voice she could here was that one of the crickets. It was creepy but her thoughts were occupied by finding Mandy's sister.
