Chapitre 31: blood and water

Softly closing the door, he took steps towards where she slept. So calmly, he squatted next to her and watched her. Her breath was slow and steady and he could hear her heartbeat that felt like a melody to his sensitive ears.

Her hair had been let loose with some unruly strands hovered over her face.

He was so close to her face and he slowly lifted his hand and picked a strand of her long hair that caused her to wake up. Due to their close proximity, she quickly sat upright and her shocked reaction caused his lips to pull up into a smag.

"I was planning to watch you the whole night." He remarked while gazing up at her.

"We should go to him." Came her words. Her sleep had vanished the moment she opened her eyes only to find him watching her and with her mind clear, all she could think of was prince Wilson.
