The stern voice with an incredibly strong accent could make someone laugh if they were not used to hearing it. That voice, which could be heard within Joke’s apartment, came from a man who was sitting in front of him with an utterly stiff expression.
And Joke had to sigh again.
“I wasn’t lying. I decided to reject that job. A publishing company really contacted me to offer me a position there.”
“Then why did you reject them, you little mutt? You can’t work with them unless they pull up in a limo to invite you to their company?!”
His father yelled back, making Joke heave out another sigh. He knew that someone like his old man, the mighty “Jakkrapan”, would never listen to him so easily. Or maybe he never intended to listen since he first left Suphan Buri.
