“Don’t be too serious, Joke. Just fight the way you’ve been doing up until now,” Rin said as she lightly patted his shoulder.

“But ‘the way I’ve been doing up until now’ is only once.”

“And that’s still counted as “done”, isn’t it?” She smiled. “Don’t worry. As long as you do your best, I believe that you’ll see a good outcome. You only have to carefully make your decisions like you’ve done before. After all, this is your opportunity to gain experience, right?”

Rin nudged Joke’s back, urging him to finally follow others into the duel zone. It seemed that everyone had gone into their assigned rooms already. After Joke went inside, he saw Madame Fon in room no.1, still checking the state of the system, and a figure of a man in front of the room. He was reaching out to open the door to that duel room but when he turned and met Joke’s gaze, a gentle smile instantly appeared.

“I’ll be waiting for you, Mr. Joke.”
