Chapitre 18: You stupid cute ugly thing!
"Hehehehe...kekekekeke....HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Tyler broke into maniacal laughter as he threw his head back and spread his arms wide, savoring the feeling of adrenaline rushing through his veins!
All the cells in his body vibrated with excitement! Red flames erupted out of his body and spread outwards dispersing the yellow flames all around him!
He felt different! He felt like he had been asleep the whole time and had just woken up, his body felt foreign yet so familiar, he felt like everything and everything was within his grasp.
In short, the idiot was high like he had inhaled a mound of cocaine.....
"What a great day to feel so alive! HAAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
The flames that were burning and torturing him had turned into an incomparable comfort to him. The gaping hole on his chest had healed up in an instant and his hair began to regrow at a fast pace.
The infernal world wasn't torturing anymore, rather it was pleasant! The oppressive aura of the red gecko wasn't oppressive anymore.
He returned his head and looked at the red gecko that was emerging from the flames ahead of him.
His ecstasy suddenly turned into a gloomy anger that enticed rage within his body. His hair had regrown to a disheveled state and it fell over his face covering his eyes.
However, two glowing golden orbs could be seen.
His chest heaved up and down in rage, as the red devil flames that had ignited on his body into the surrounding returned to only a thin layer of flames that outlined his body!
"You stupid ugly cute thing! You almost Killed ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Letting out a roar that filled the skies, Tyler charged in with maniacal rage, the flames on his body igniting explosively!
"HAHAHAHAHA"
With a clench of his fist, a red flame dagger materialized. His other hand did the same and another flame dagger appeared in his clenched fist!
The moment the entire gecko emerged out of its flames, two flame daggers flew in the air.
"HAHAHAHA DIE!"
Swoosh! Swoosh!
The blades missed the target!
"Damn! Stupid claws! Is my aim that bad?" Tyler's expression turned into a sad one for a second but his ruthless rage-filled expression returned.
"It doesn't matter! Haha..."
With a wave of his hand, the flame daggers that had missed made a turn and spun back to the red gecko. They lunged deep into the scales on the sides of its abdomen before disappearing and revealing two miniature slit wounds.
"HAHAHAH........"
Tyler was in the middle of his maniacal rage laughter and still charging at the gecko when suddenly-
BOOM!!!!
A heavy tail came out of nowhere and smacked him far away!
Embarrassing! Utterly embarrassing!
His flight ended and he fell face flat into the ground but the velocity still dragged him for quite a distance using him as a human plough that dug a long ditch in the soil.
Eventually, he stopped in an area that was still unaffected by the flames. The only deformity to the beautiful lush green world where he landed was the long ditch that was dug using his body!
"Pu..pu!" after sitting up, he spat out a mouthful of dirt. With a few coughs in between too.
"HAHAHAHA...." he burst into a peal of laughter, "Okay, that was embarrassing!"
He stood up and his expression turned solemn and he looked into the sea of flames far ahead of him.
"Let's do it again...HAHAHA!" The red flames on his body exploded once again and within five breaths of time, he was back in the gecko's flame domain!
"THIS IS SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!.....HAHAHAHA...."
The red gecko was making its way leisurely towards Tyler once again when suddenly a fist came out of nowhere and landed on its smiley face.
Boom!!
The cute monstrous creature's head was cocked to the side instantly but it didn't move from its position. When it turned its face back to Tyler, there was a trail of blood at the side of its smiling cute mouth.
Tyler's flaming figure emerged from the flames with a kind of.....disheartened expression?
"Oh shoot! I was really hoping to send you flying like you did me....." his meniac face resumed, "Oh well! It's like they say- not every wish comes true. HAHAHAHAH......"
Amid his laughter, the flame gecko released a beam of flames out of its mouth!
Once again, Tyler's figure disappeared in the beam of flames making it appear like he had dissipated in them. But when the flames subsided, there stood a lunatic grinning Tyler staring through his disheveled hair, completely unaffected by the flames.
"You can't use the same trick twice you dummy!" Pointing his open palms towards the flame gecko, he said, "Why don't I try?"
The cold glint flashed in his golden glowing eyes under his disheveled hair. Immediately, red particles gathered at the top of his palms, and a red flame was started. Soon, the red flame shot out of his palms like a dragon's breath which spread out widely!
-Flame Thrower Level 1!
It dispersed the gecko's yellow flames and burned with a greater destructiveness.
If before, things were on fire and slowly burning, this time they were on fire and burning instantly to ashes!
"HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tyler was elated beyond sanity as he watched his red flames envelop everything in their paths- the red gecko inclusive!
The gecko's body turned into a silhouette that diminished in the brightness of the red flames that were gushing out of Tyler's palms.
Tyler laughed to his heart's content like he had turned insane— being master of the raging red flames!
When he stopped releasing the red flames, the gecko's spiked tail swang out of the flames in a bid to hit Tyler away again but it was grabbed.
Tyler condensed a red flame dagger in his free hand and immediately severed the tail!
"Hehe...I told you you can't use the same twice!" a slight frown appeared on his lips, "Oh that's right. In this case, it's thrice....."
His gaze lingered in the air awkwardly like he was embarrassed about something but his meniac expression returned once again. His dangerous grin revealed one of his sharpened canines.
He threw the tail aside and continued to watch the flames on the gecko's body dissipate. Once the flames died down, Tyler could see that most of the gecko's body had been charred black and some parts of its flesh were melted.
It was dead.
"At least you died smiling you cute ugly thing,"
Tyler was the only living thing left in this blazing world.
"PREPOSTEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" a raging voice filled the skies and the destroyed world reverted to normal with a blow of wind.
Although the wind was gentle, Tyler's expression changed drastically as an overbearing pressure pushed him to one knee.
A figure began to materialize in front of Tyler. This one looked real, unlike the flame entity from before.
When Tyler saw him, a grin appeared on his face.
"Lo and behold...Another old muscular wizard guy! Why are you not in a robe? Why are you shirtless? Never mind, at least you have a sense of fashion. Do you guys lift weights during your retirement or something?"
That's right, another muscular man with grey hair had appeared out of nowhere. And he was glaring daggers at Tyler!
At least this one wore pants. The other flame entity's robe on his muscular body really irked him.
Why would a muscular person wear a robe?! Wizards were supposed to be frail and thin and extremely old.
He was glad this one didn't disappoint when it came to attire— shirtless with pants, totally fit for his body.
Tyler's grin slowly subsided as he came to his senses and a deep frown settled on his face. The foreboding feeling of danger assaulted his senses.
"OH shit, this is the guy that wants me dead!"
