Chapitre 110: An overwhelming presence

Maxixe shrugged. "My sister will understand and she is always free to come and go at Fairhurst to her heart's desire."

"Are you going to take Lady Kaoma back with you?" Aiden inquired. 

"She's the only reason why I'm lingering here," explained Maxixe, "or I would have left this forsaken icebox already."

The bells of the largest grandfather clock he ever laid eyes on chimed loudly, it was eleventh hour and the women were yet to grace them with their presence since night. 

He would give them one more hour and if they didn't arrive then he would find them wherever they were and drag them home, the wait was getting on his last nerve.

Just as he was about to inquire about the women the music stopped, the set was being changed, this orchestra was being switched.

So the crowd was enthusiastically thanking them for their hard work with loud clapping, cheers and whistles.
