Chapitre 161: Shameless person

In her hand, she was still holding the pendant that Ryle had sent for her. She did not realize when she had dozed off while looking at it. She placed it back in the box and kept it on the bedside table. 

When Daisy opened the door, a cool breath brushed over her as she was pulled into an embrace. She was still stunned and her eyes had widened because it took her time to realize that she was not dreaming. 

Ryle entered the room while holding her in his arms and locked the door from behind him with one hand. The moment the door closed, that hand went back to hug her tightly. He placed his face on her head and held the woman tightly in his chest as if he wanted to crush her and melt her into his bones. 

Once Daisy came out of her daze, she realized that one side of her face was completely chilly, ''You are so cold,'' she whispered. 

''Warm me up then,'' Ryle kissed the top of her head and hugged her tightly.
