"Did little princess enjoy that?" Ryle looked at the girl who was looking at the amusement park with stars in her eyes. If it was not so late already, he could have taken her to other rides that would probably have suited her taste given her preference for haunted houses. 

''Enjoyiiii...'' the little girl cheered, shaking her legs in his arms and waving at her mother who caught up to them. 

Probably some other day. He made a mental note. 

Daisy grabbed Ryle's arm. Even though her fingers could not encircle his arm completely, her grip was firm, ''You... Are you avoiding me?" 

''Why would I?" Ryle looked at her indifferently but the scene of Lu Xian giving her a lingering look before his departure seemed to be still so fresh in his mind.
