Chapitre 66: Just tell Max the truth

Xavian had a terrible feeling gnawing at his heart.

He could feel that something was wrong somewhere as his connection he had had with Anais ever since she had been turned had begun to waver.

"I really really hope everything is okay."

Xavian searched every nook and cranny in the school.

He asked around, checked her dorm, checked the library, the infirmary, everywhere. But there was no trace of Anais.

Dejected, the blonde teenager was about giving up when he caught a familiar scent.

The scent of a Dhampir.

In a flash, Xavian found himself running faster than he had ever done before. He was so worried that nothing mattered to him right now.

The familiar scent led him to a dark alley, where two glowing eyes stared back at him from the darkness.

Xavian groaned and banged his head on a wall.

"It's just you... me.. whatever."

The scent had led him straight to the location of Future Xavian.
