Chapitre 7: Sword in the Stone
[DEFILED ASYLUM - Gate Entrance]
Ainz' POV
As I continued to walk, I expected the transfer to take quite a while. I didn't know it was literally instantaneous.
I just placed my 1st step into the portal and after the other, I was already on the other side.
The place in front of where we currently are looks like those long abandoned, now haunted, asylums.
With dark and weathered walls, adorned with thorns and glowing dark purple flowers.
There are tall dead trees along the road with agonized faces on their trunks with creepy branches that almost look finger-like.
Decrepit tall brick walls surround the area. At its entrance, an old rusty, thorn-covered gate stood. With angel statues kneeling in prayer up top, headless.
To top off the horrific vibe, mist started to emerge from who knows where, just as we were about to near the gate.
We continued to walk on the rough and uneven cobbled road.
"This is the place where darkness reeks, Sister. I ask you to be cautious. We may be strong, but your beloved will not fare well in these parts. He is still... weak" Cassandra told Sera in a forewarning voice.
'Look, Cassandra. Just because I'm only Level 21 doesn't mean you can look down on me!' I begrudgingly told her internally.
'Killing Low Leveled undead by the Entrance Zone may not be much compared to you Level 100 players but I'm just doing what I can on what's given, okay? Hmp!' I said to myself frustratingly.
"I know, Sister. That I know much. But I have full faith and trust that he will protect me at all costs" Sara said reassuringly
"Isn't that right, My Beloved? You will [Help Me], yes?"
I then knelt on one knee struck my sword again, on the cobblestone, and said my line.
[I am yours to command, My Love]
"See? Utmost service and loyalty! A true knight of light in this dark and forsaken world!" Sera said proudly as she confronted, Cassandra.
"Very well. We shall see" Cassandra lets it go and opens the rusty gate.
As we stepped foot beyond the gate. A game screen pop-up came to my view.

'Woah... Does that mean I may 'potentially' have some form of privilege as an NPC that follows its creator?' I asked myself as I read the contents of the message.
'What's up with the unknown question marks as well? Is it gonna be OP? Cause if it is then don't mind if do, I ain't complaining'
'If I were to successfully clear this Dungeon with the ladies, it may be possible for me to receive the Dungeon Rewards as well, right?'
'Perhaps I can gain titles, gold and EXP as well? Maybe... maybe not. I'll see where this thing goes.'
As we continued on the path towards the Asylums door, a black shadow suddenly appeared in front of us!
'Oh no! Who's that Pokemon?!' I jokingly said to myself
But I lost my hidden smile as I saw the unknown dark shadow suddenly appear in front of me.
'Wtf?! It's so fast! Did it teleport or something?'
It was at that moment, I knew, I Fucked Up.
Only for a golden dome to surround me way before the shadow struck its glowing claws at me.
"[Aegis]!" My Love shouted a spell that pretty much saved my life from experiencing death for the first time.
'Thank you, My Love! I was supposed to save you, not the other way around!' I said in my mind, as I slashed the [Shadow Claw] with my golden sword.
The sword I was currently wielding flashed a golden shimmering light as I struck the monster.
I was about to slash it again with my sword but it just suddenly turned into golden sparkles.
'Was it... Dead? ALREADY?!'
Was the monster spawn weak or was the sword too OP??
I checked my status screen and willed it to show the details of my current equipped Sword. Only for me to be smacked with the reality that this sword is THE freaking Excalibur!

Summons 7 Angelic Golden-Masked Knights that will follow the User's command and will.
I was speechless after reading all the details that the sword I equipped had.
With this sword, I can literally farm any Undead as long as their levels are not too high for me to contend.
'I can only imagine how many levels I can gain in just clearing the floors of this Dungeon. Hehehe' I said to myself with a grinning smile.
"It's a good thing I lend him my sword for this quest, Sister. He wouldn't be here if it weren't for your [Aegis] and [Excalibur]" Said Cassandra the reality-slapper.
"Oh come on! We're just getting started, Sister. Give him a chance to prove his worth as my Knight" My Love replied back.
'I don't care about what you think of me now as long as I get to keep this sword all for myself' I said back as I continued to stare at 'my sword'.
After killing the first [Shadow Claw] that came at me though, more of its kind came out of their hiding and started to surround us.
I slashed my way towards their encirclement first as My Love cast all kinds of spells to support me and Cassandra.
I became faster, stronger, and more durable the more I spent time in battle.
While Cassandra was literally just mowing them down, with each swing of her magical sword, groups of [Shadow Claws] died, leaving behind fireworks of sparkling gold.
With our teamwork, if you can even call it that, we created more space between us and the monsters, making it easier for me to protect My Love.
Not that she needed it, being a Level 100 Player but under Role-playing rules, we all have a part to play and we have to stick to it.
A slash here, a stab there and swirling around everywhere.
There is one thing that I noticed though, as I continue to fighting monsters right now.
I'm actually moving all on my own!
'I thought I was supposed to be commanded on every little thing to function in a party but I guess I was wrong'
I could literally just stand by My Love's side if I wished to but that would be too suspicious considering enemies are surrounding us.
Definitely a boon though!
Because when I was in my assigned zone back at the Tower. I was not able to move freely.
Guess my freedom of bodily functions only exists when I'm in a Dungeon or in a Party? I could surely work with that.
With determination in my eyes, I charged toward my enemies and started killing as much as I possibly could, with a silent grin on my lips.
