Chapitre 140: She is not yet here!

At the filming station, everything was progressing smoothly. Everyone who was supposed to be on set was already there—except for one person, Chen Mumu.

Director Zhang was busy directing another scene and hadn't noticed her absence yet. His assistant, however, looked around worriedly after realizing Chen Mumu was missing.

The next scene was scheduled to start soon, and Chen Mumu was a crucial part of it. The assistant debated whether to inform Director Zhang immediately but hesitated. The director was deeply engrossed in his work, and interruptions were one of the few things he despised.

The assistant decided to wait. When the current scene concluded, Director Zhang called out, "Take a 10-minute break before we continue."

As Director Zhang walked toward his room, the assistant rushed toward him, looking uneasy.

"What is it?" Director Zhang asked.

"Chen Mumu hasn't arrived yet," the assistant replied quickly.
