Chapitre 52: Tell her to come back

Chen Xu shook her thoughts away and strode briskly to Mao Liu's office. When she arrived, she flung open the already weak door with such force that Mao Liu's pale face turned blue. As the door stayed intact, his worry subsided slightly. However, when he looked up and saw Chen Xu, he groaned inwardly. What did this troublemaker want now?

Chen Xu stared him down. "I saw Chen Mumu on my way out. What did you two talk about? Did she agree to give up the role?"

Mao Liu sighed, reaching for the termination letter Chen Mumu had signed moments earlier. He placed it on the desk in front of Chen Xu. "She disagreed and signed the termination. She's officially left the company."

Chen Xu's eyes widened in shock and anger. "What did you just say? She terminated her contract?"

Mao Liu nodded. "She isn't willing to give up the role. But don't worry, my delicate flower. She'll cave eventually."
