Chapitre 254: Chapter 254 : Lesser Gail 1
Orion wanted answers, not a date when he would get answers.
Merlin just told him that he would explain after going back to their world. For the time being, just focus on controlling his newfound Level 5 powers.
He was unwilling but what else could he do, not like he could get things out of that old man's mouth if he didn't want to say.
It was never apparent more than today how powerful Merlin was really. The man never got a chance to show it as he never had his body but due to the war, he was given back his body.
Which by the way looks so much like Gandalf from Lord of the Rings that it's almost suspicious that Merlin copied his look.
But whatever, the real deal was his magical power. For the most part, it was suppressed and Orion would have bet that he wouldn't have been even feeling that underlying magical power if not for his current improvement.
He was like Yamatomo Genryusai of the wizarding world and the staff he as carrying was Ryujin Jakka.
Orion eyes just kept on fixating at the beautiful-looking white staff at Merlin's hands and he gotta say 'That looked badass,'.
Certainly now being able to just use magic wandless felt bland to him. That cool-looking staff really made Merlin look like a wizard from those old folk tails.
But that was just the look, after hearing from Merlin what kind of things that staff can do. Orion immediately started drooling.
Though there was much on the list of what it can do for the start how about outright doubling the base stat of a spell it can take that up to 10x.
10 Freaking X.
That alone is enough to wage war for that Staff.
Stinky Meriln won't let him use it.
'Why, I thought you didn't like staff, we will get you a good wand for you just like you requested, remember' he said.
Orion can't help but sigh, he swore to get a better staff or something comparable in due time to rub it on that old man's face.
Well, when it comes to old men, let's talk about the stable three we have in the HP world. Dumbledore, Grindelwald and also voldemort as he too is pretty old.
Currently, Orion is comparable to all of them when it comes to magical power alone. But that doesn't mean he was their equal.
OH NO...
He surpassed them.
With all the ancient magic he has learned from Merlin and the Law. He was far better to any one of them when it came to combat power alone.
However on other expects, he might still lack experience or extensive knowledge about a subject like White Magic or Transfiguration for Dumbledore or Black magic for both Grindelwald and Voldemort.
And that was a good thing.
After getting a little more sleep, Orion was planning on visiting the church as he didn't know what exactly he had to do after getting a Servant for himself. He never saw it in the anime either, damn the kid him and his quitting animes in halfway tendencies.
But before he can do that, Orion feels a powerful magical blast. It even put that monster from a few days earlier to shame. The magical power was so dense that it could even surpass the presence of Merlin standing in front of him.
"What the hell's going on," Orion asked.
"It's starting," Merlin replied.
"What's starting ?" Orion grumbles as he just can't seem to catch a break, one thing after another.
"While you were out, I gathered information about the grail. This is what happens when the lesser Gail takes form. This is the thing which everyone fights so much for." Merlin explains everything in detail making Orion go wide eyes.
"Are you saying that it's happening now, like right now," Orion asked.
"Yes, we too should get moving." Merlin smiled as he snapped his finger and both he and Orion found themselves teleported in front of a bridge.
Orion saw this with disbelief.
"You said you never learned the Law Of Space," Orion asked suspiciously.
"I said I never master it, I can still use it. There is a difference." Merlin replied cheekily.
Making Orion grumble.
But there wasn't much more to talk about either because, in front of them, they saw Gilgamesh killing Rider.
Making their joking tone dissipate.
"Oh you are finally showing yourself and you also got yourself a Heroic Spirit, boy you gave both me and Tokiomi much trouble, no matter what I couldn't just find you" Gilgamesh said as he totally ignored Waver there and started to walk towards Orion and Merlin.
Orion knew immediately Merlin has his hands behind this, for this he was grateful at least.
"You know him ?" Merlin asked.
"Yeah! kind of.
He is not a friend and really strong, keep that things in mind."
"Oh, interesting," Merlin said but suddenly his attention was drawn to the magical power radiating from the church area.
"Hmm, seems like it's already been started. I don't think so we have time to waste here." Merlin said as he saw Gilgamesh talking something nonsense to Orion which even Orion was having a hard time comprehending.
Completely Ignoring Gilgamesh, Merlin glanced at Orion and just said.
"You go ahead, I will handle this guy."
Making Orion tense a little.
He doesn't doubt Merlin's strength, but the one he is facing is the king of heroes.
"Are you sure, this guy is strong? If we both work toge...." Orion was saying this but before that, Merlin spoke up.
"NAH I'll WIN."
Making Orion pause. Those words sounded a big huge red flag for some reason.
Gilgamesh standing on the side wasn't able to hear anything as the conversation was happening inside their head.
"Damn it, fine.
You better be ready when I get the Grail. We are getting out of here. Then you are telling me everything about all the things going on till now. You hear me." Orion paused and then said.
"Sure, next time we meet. I will tell you everything. Though I am pretty sure you are smart enough to figure it out but still." Merlin smiles as he waves his hand.
Orion just nodded as he was ready to get out of there with teleportation but before that Merlin said again.
"By the way one more thing..." Merlin said, making Orion stop in his place.
"huh ?"
"Though I never liked this line much but its true. So just remember.
With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibilities." Merlin said making Orion confused about what he wanted to say. Why suddenly bring that up here?
"That Grail is that kind of power."
'Oh so that's what he is talking about'
"When I met you, you were nothing but a runt.
You have come a long way, but still act childish.
No child should hold that kind of power, Orion."

"I believe it's time to grow up brother.
You just have to.
Remember that."
Merlin said that as he snapped his finger and Orion was gone before he could even register that, let alone say anything.

"The hell, who is he calling a child," Orion shouted when he understood what the man was implying but just calmed himself.
He was right in front of the church. He had to get inside.
