Chapitre 14: Chapter 13
The four of us watched in stunned disbelief, as the cart slowly rolled away. Smiling I shook my head, 'if I go after him to try and pay he might just fire a slug at me.' Strangely enough the rammstone seemed the most stunned. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I quickly changed the subject
"Well welcome little guy, as you probably know this is my first teammate and Armashelt Anan, and our resident tazerling Kilowatt, the only other slugs on my team." Anan smiled and waxed, Kilowatt just nodded solemnly. The rammstone looked between the two and gave a shy wave back to Anan, while giving a jerky nod to Kilowatt. Continuing on, "well I'm not going to just keep calling you little guy or anything so we are going to need a name," the rammstone looked eager at "but…" his expression fell, "that's only if you want to join our team," the rammstone looked at me with a confused face. It seemed to say 'what do you mean if I want to join?' Chuckling at the little guy I patted his head with a finger, "well what we're gonna be doing in the near future will be dangerous… extremely dangerous," the rammstone looks up at me with a little bit of fear and nods his head in understanding, so I continue on. "We plan to go after Dr. Black, something about him seems extremely fishy and we all know he's evil so we will be confronting him head on," the rammstone looked extremely frightened, honestly the emotions that flickered across his face reflected almost exactly what I had been feeling before I sat my team down to set up our future goals, "look you don't have to be part of my team I can run after Billy and he can find you a good partner." I offered. The slug looked extremely conflicted, on one hand he wanted an adventure with good people and company, and this would certainly provide that, but on the other hand a very real and sizable amount of danger was going to fallow this team.
Deciding to give the guy some time to think, I slipped him into one of the shells, getting a move on. After asking a local where the great western forge was, I was pointed to the west. It would take us a little over a week to reach the forge on foot so we set off quickly.
- Five Day Timeskip
It had been five days since we had set out and not much of interest had happened so slugs running away, we saw no thugglet slugs however so we just let them go without causing any trouble it was a very good time, it gave me a lot of time to spend with my slugs and our bond just continued to grow. I found out that Anan hated getting really warm while Kilowatt loved warmth constantly burrowing under the blankets that we had, Kush had slept in his shell the first few nights, but eventually he started sleeping on the pillow on the other side of my head from Anan. Oh yeah Kush is our resident rammstone slug. As soon as we had set off we started training, this included me in this group I would shoot one of my slugs and while they completed a move set I would run to catch up. In most cases this would be Kush because he could give me an obstacle with his defensive abilities. So my trip consisted mostly of running, jumping, slinging , parkour, and evasive maneuvers. But of course everything good must come to an end. Three people all with familiar clothes stood in the middle of the road, I approached the group of Dr. Black's henchmen, laying a casual hand on my blaster I called out.
"Hello fine gentleman how can I help you?"
