Jun Mochan seized Xia Shi's wrist, squeezing slightly. Xia Shi winced in pain, releasing the door.

Jun Mochan proceeded to drag her outside.

He led her towards the front door, descending the staircase. As they reached the door, Xia Shi clung to it again: "Mrs. Huo, save me, please save me."

The noise happening within the hall, roused Mrs. Huo from her sleep. Wrapping a robe around herself, she opened her room door: "What on earth is going on in the middle of the night?"

"Mrs. Huo, please help me," Xia Shi pleading, as though she'd just grasped at a life-saving straw on seeing Mrs. Huo.

"Mo Han, what in the world are you doing? Where are you taking Xiao Shi in the middle of the night?" Mrs. Huo asked in surprise, quickly making her way down the staircase.
